The room was nice, the cleaning staff on point! The only critique would be office hours are limited, and though only a block, the hill from the hotel to the warf is extremely steep to walk. Great stay, great room.

Great place would love to stay there again

Not thrilled with the breakfast. The quiche sucked. Stand and ordered at the counter, then they brought it to me. Did not receive coffee refills. Expensive for what I received

Older complex.. view was great but the smell upon entering the room was overwhelming. I kept the patio door open the entire time

For the expensive price you pay for this hotel, I would probably pick somewhere else next time. The hotel is super "cute" but the bathrooms are very old (—old bathtub). The walls are thin so you can hear neighbor's mumbling, alarm clocks ringing, outside noise, etc. There's no parking, only residential parking a few blocks away. (It's a safe area, but still.) There's no 24/7 front desk service, so during lunch break and past 8pm, guests are on their own (to lock up the actual place. We were the last guest to check in so the attendant left for the day). The arrival wine and cookies were a lovely touch, and the morning assortment was a delight (—pastries, beverages (coffee/orange juice), fruit (kiwi, grapefruit), and made to order poached eggs). The location was definitely the reason why we booked the place, as it was near the hip and happening night life of SLO (while the opposite end of the town, the hotels are much less but dead quiet). Liked it, but I don't think I'd book it again, due to the high price.
