Absolutely incredible staff. Elvira and Virginia((?) Server in the restaurant)) were incredibly helpful and kind. Our experience was completely enhanced by their service. And the food was amazing.

The good: staff, bar food and music The bad (cozy king room): no closet, frig, microwave, electric outlets in bathroom (except for shavers), no shower cap, no face cloth, I could hear little kids in room next to mine until VERY late at night, no actual shower door (partial) or shower fan, bathroom door doesn’t stay open, cheap instant coffee, charge to get in room early (really taking advantage of exhausted travelers), mold around bottom of shower. Their attempt at being “modern” at check-in is ridiculous. It does not eliminate the human in the process. All guests that I watched check in couldn’t figure out what they had to do (as the 2nd step) in going to the machine in the middle of the room that dispensed the room keys. My bed was not arranged the way shown on the website. The headboard was under the windows such that I was NOT looking directly at the TV, but sideways.

Marlin was a great landing pad for all things Dublin! Walking to the main attractions, slightly out of ear shot of the noisy pub activities but close enough to get there. The flats/housing nearby have youths that seem interested in mischief, especially on weekends.

Property was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, kudos to the young lady at the front desk for providing us help with directions. The one item would be the floors weren’t cleaned so my wife done them herself.

We had a fantastic stay at the Marlin to kick off our tour of Ireland. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is really cool, very clean, and conveniently located near shops, dining and entertainment. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin

Dining really need to improve, first night service it was good, and this other 2, terrible! Waited 45 minutes to be acknowledged, then only it got worsened. Not only that, but the attitude after you ask for the same staff twice they will ignore you for the rest of the night.

Now I know what is like to be in a prison cell as that was the room size. If 2 people shared this room there would have been no room to turn around. Extremely disappointed with the room. Staff very helpful but room size a real downer. Would have expected Expedia to note this. Will have to consider other choices in the future. Was let down by both Expedia and the Marlin Hotel
