This felt like a home away from home, very historic section of Dubuque with great "city" vibes. Just what we were looking for! The tech was awesome, internet was great even during the storm. Updated bathrooms and kitchen were a big bonus. Most comfy and intuitive VRBO we have stayed at in 5 years.

Grandson’s hockey tournament
We really didn’t want to stay at the hotel with all of the kids so I searched VRBO and found this property. We definitely will stay again when we are in town for future hockey tournaments. I can’t say enough about how great the loft is! We were also lucky and had fabulous weather the first weekend in March so we got to enjoy the deck! Charlotte’s coffee shop is awesome as well. You can walk downstairs with your slippers on and grab a coffee! Parking is across the street but very simple. Everything was phenomenal! Thank you Jenn for being a great host!! We definitely will be back.

Excellent Spot in Dubuque
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property & enjoyed the hot tub, as that is not always common to find at a property. The extra perks of free drinks & cookies for the coffee shop were also a nice treat.

We absolutely loved it. Great customer service, we loved the coffee How's downstairs. Everything was extremely clean and updated. Love the hot our entire experience was amazing to the point where we decided to stay in extra day.

Loved it!
My husband, one year old son, and I very much enjoyed our stay! The loft is adorable and has everything you need. We had breakfast at Charolettes both mornings, which was delicious. The host also leaves free drink “tickets” for Charoletts and another bar down the street, which was an nice added touch. We were in town for a good friends baby shower at a brewery, which was a nice short walk away. We will definitely book again!

Amazing Getaway
The apartment was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms are updated with nice features. We did have. Little trouble trying to figure out where to park...do not park behind the building but kitty-corner across the street. The only other probelm we had was that the hot tub was not filled completely. But, when we reached out to the manager, she was there within 45 min to fill it at 9 PM. The coffee shop downstairs was a delight as well and had a great selection! Overall, a wonderful experience!

Quick Grtaway
My husband and I spent two nights for a quick getaway and had a blast. We loved being in walking distance of some awesome establishments such as 7 Hills. The hot tub was a treat that we really enjoyed. I would not hesitate to rent this place again. Be sure to check out Charolette’s Coffee House if you stay. I am now addicted to açaí bowls!

Great place in the heart of Dubuque
Beautiful property, located close to lot of places to eat, drink and have fun. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing, I would say in warm weather this might not feel very private as there are a lot of nearby balconies and patios close by.

Annual university homecoming visit!
This is the third time we have stayed at Lofthouse. We try to book it whenever we visit our son who attends the university of Dubuque. It is truly our home away from home with added luxury. It is clean , comfortable and has everything anyone could need. This time we arrived early and the host accommodated an early check in. We loved talking with local residents at Charlotte’s Coffee house each morning. Our friends staying at a nearby hotel came over for breakfast on the patio one morning. This time I found a fun arcade just a block away as well as two adorable boutiques. It was our favorite trip yet!

First trip
This was a perfect location for walking places but also was very easy to get to other places by car. The loft was a perfect size for two people and had everything we needed when we were there. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family!

Awesome Loft
The Loft provided an awesome place to base our stay in Dubuque. It was a short walk to get most places we wanted to go. It was exactly what we needed. Jenn was a terrific host. She answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place for a couples getaway!
We have a wonderful experience! Close to a few bars, breweries and eating places! Enjoyed the hot tub and the coffee place just downstairs! The noise did travel upstairs from what we think was the kitchen but you could only hear it while we were sitting in the living room area. Super easy to get ahold of the property owner and very clean place! We would definitely stay again!

Fun stay good locale
Enjoyable stay in the drake house loft. Only surprise was that there was a flight of stairs on first entry and another flight inside (assumed the second based on pics). Great coffee house neighbors, lovely time in the hot tub, nice kitchen space, and great to have a bathroom right off the deck for the hot tub usage. Highly recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway
My husband and I had a short weekend getaway. This was just perfect for what we were needing! The space was very clean and welcoming. We loved having the hot tub to use. Also the communication was perfect. We would for sure recommend or use again if we are in the area.

The Loft was wonderful. Check in was easy and the added touches were so appreciated. We loved the free drinks from Charlotte's coffee shop, the koozies, and cookies. The place looks like the pictures and Jenn was a dream to work with. We highly recommend this place to stay!

We loved our time at The Loft! Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Dubuque. The coffee shop downstairs made it even better with a cup of coffee and a quick bite in the morning. Communication with the host was efficient and we had no problems checking in. Becoming Home Away From Home
This was our second stay at The Loft. We loved it just as much this fall as we did in the summer. Everything from the super comfy bed to the deck with a private hot tub was perfect. We visited Dimensional Brewery a short drive away. Best cider and bbq!

Great location and good value

Great Location, Wonderful Stay
Came for a 5 day vacation break and this was the perfect property. Even nicer than advertised, spotless, and a wonderful central location. The hot tub on the balcony was a relaxing bonus after our long days of touring the area. Our host Jenn communicated promptly with all the information we needed and checked to be sure everything was in order (which it was). We will definitely return!! Thank you!!

Beautiful space
Such a beautiful space- very comfortable! Love that it is above a coffee shop- fun atmosphere. Within walking distance of so many attractions and good food. Great host- communication was easy and pleasant. Truly feel blessed to have been able to enjoy this VRBO. Was a great first experience!
