“The breakfast offer at this hotel is very limited. There are only five set options available, all of which contain a large amount of bread. For guests who cannot consume gluten, this means that they cannot have a proper, satisfying breakfast. No alternative choices are provided apart from these five predefined breakfast sets. For a hotel with four stars, this is not really appropriate. Another issue was that in the room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, there were clear signs of recent……

“Staff at reception welcomed us while chewing. Decent sized room, but it was 26,5C in there - when called reception was told air conditioning is not working yet. Night was quite unpleasant, as on top of no air con, ventilation was also missing (both in the room and in the bathroom). Spa experience was also disappointing- one of the 2 pools was not open. The jacuzzi was not clean (visible floating all kind of things). The steam bath was making a loud noise at times. Cold water „pool“ was filled……

“The hotel offers very good accommodation conditions, we are not talking about luxury, we are talking about functionality. We didn't feel like we were missing anything even for a moment. One recommendation: a little diversity at breakfast would not hurt.”

“The room was mediocre, uncomfortable bed, they only gave us 2 towels for the tow of as. No towels for your hands. For an 110€+ per night hotel I would expect to have the white slippers which they normally put them in the room. We had the spa included, but you had to pay extra for the bathrobe. I won’t recommend it ”

“At this price point, Hotel Grand, in Samakov, is excellent value. The owner, Stanislav, was very helpful and gave us great service. The room was fine, the restaurant was fine, the bar was fine. There are 4 large supermarkets very near the hotel. We like supermarkets :) We had a great, comfortable stay. Thank you Stanislav and your team :)”

“Prijs is niet in verhouding met de accommodatie. Verfrissing nodig... het is geen 4 sterren hotel! Ik betaalde voor een Russische bad (160 BGN), het was eigenlijk voor één uur van sauna maar. Het ontbijt was basic🤔. Ik vroeg voor een late check-out, toch wordt het geweigerd Ondanks het hotel half leeg was... Ondanks was het hotel half leeg wordt ”
