We liked being on the east end, quieter and less busy. Rooms were nice great view, and food was awesome. Mostly the staff was great!!

We loved the staff from the first time we entered the building to when we left. Everyone was so nice and attentive. We had issues with the phone and tv and someone was there to fix it in under 5 minutes. Food was amazing! We never had a bad meal. Seaweed is a problem, but they work so hard to remove it from the beach every day. Our room was spacious and very clean as was the entire place. Every day they would clean from top to bottom.

Staff and food were excellent. If staying longer than three days, you will repeat your food choices. More variety and food specials would be good. The lack of entertainment, both during the day and specially at night was extremely disappointing in this isolated place. Stating that there is nightly entertainment is false advertising. To make things even worse, you cannot access internet thru TV to watch Netflix, Prime, etc and TV choices are horrible.

The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating, but the facilities need some upgrades to be on par with better quality resorts. The meals are average and more functional than delicious. The distance from everything worth seeing on the island is painfully inconvenient for those who choose not to rent a car. Taxis from east end to most places will cost upwards $150 for a couple, and the resort does not offer a complimentary shuttle service at this “ all inclusive” resort. It’s clean, quiet, and offers limited entertainment and activities. However, everything on the resort basically shuts down at 9; that can be boring. It seems to cater to the 65 crowd. It’s worth the money to pay higher rates for the 7 mile beach area. At least there are more restaurants and bars within walking distance of those properties.The higher end properties also offer complimentary shuttles to and from the airport as well as local attractions .

If you want quiet and restful and relaxation, this is the place. That doesn't mean being in the sun all day either. The food was outstanding, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. If you are a water person, it is absolutely great. I would rent a car next time as the travel around the island is limited and expensive. (Airport to Hotel - $95). The worst thing about the whole trip was US Customs upon return so I will sign up for their Global program for my next travel. I have nothing but great review and would go again all inclusive!
