"We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. "Lovely friendly couple who run the place and gave us a great breakfast mainly of home made things. Very nicely decorated (not surprising as she was an interior designer before she retired to the SouthWest of France) and extremely welcome swimming pool."

Excellent petit déjeuner et un super repas le midi (que du frais et fait maison). Hôtel de caractère donc n'attendez pas le moderne."

"The host is just so helpful and cheerful, the room is super clean and the attention of detail from the host makes the stay so much enjoyable.
Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. "

"This is a very central hotel, and at first glance is very much in the traditional mould. However everything is modern, comfortable and works. There's even a pool and the breakfast was very good. The parking is limited but there's (paid) public parking right outside. Overall very good value for money."
"This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station.
My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.
I would definitely stay there again."
"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."

"Very practical property, had everything we needed especially the kitchen. Really comfortable beds, good quality linen.Only a short walk to shops and old town. A parasol in the garden would be useful. Taxi Abeilles provide a reasonable and reliable service."
