“We only stayed at Hotel Areca for one night before we flew home from Alicante airport. The room was clean, spacious & comfortable. We had a separate toilet to the bath & sink area. There was a fridge with water & beer (to buy), a safe, and adequate wifi. Staff checking in & out were very pleasant. There is plentiful parking around the streets & also there is a piece of waste ground opposite the entrance to the hotel where you can also park. There’s a couple of restaurants outwith the hotel……

“The stay was very nice. Its a clean and well kept hostel/hotel. The rooms where cleaned every day and it was very much spotless. I enjoyed the breakfast: strong good coffee, fresh pressed orange juice and croissants. I even had greek yoghurt some days.
There are plenty of small nice restaurants in the town of El Altet, just 1-2 streets up from Hostal Pensimar so food was all around - and a grocery store as well. The beach is 20 min walk away, a great way to start the day with fresh air, waking……
