Decent budget option
This was a good budget option for our family - the family room had bunk beds, a single bed, and a double/queen. AC was good, and while the beds weren't the most comfortable, they were fine. The breakfast was okay - eggs and either ham or sausage. The pool is very small and not altogether welcoming. The real reason to pick this hotel is location - it's easy to walk everywhere in town!

Location is great. Restaurant has good food, but service was a little slow. We had a bad showerhead so i told the fron desk in the morning, and by noon there was a new one installed. Shower has good pressure and hot water, but the design of the shower without a curtain makes it difficult to shower without gettin water on the floor. The bed was a little springy would be my only complaint.

The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our major complaint is that they had an issue with moisture and mold in the rooms which made it difficult to breath.

Excellent location and staff. It was nice that we got to get a queen with 2 twins in our room. Attached Brushetta restaurant was amazing. Late 1pm check out really made it easy for us. Would return for sure!

Showers did not have curtians or doors. The shower water sprayed on the floor in the bathroom. No vanity top in bathroom for toilet articles. Barking dogs. Our mattress was awful and our backs hurt the entire stay. It is a $20 hotel.

Dirty, shabby and noisy hotel
Dirty, shabby and noisy hotel. Beds not very comfortable. The "pool" is a joke. Central corridor and most of the noise comes from loud staff both early in the morning to late at night. The only good thing I can say is the location is good.

Best hotel in El Valle
I have stated all the hotels in El Valle and Every single one of them looks great on the reviews but when you get there they're dirty, small and the staff is horrible and the price is way more than what you would expect. The complete opposite was found at this hotel. The Rooms were a great size especially the family room that we stayed in that had a queen a double and two bunk beds. They even had a small room for massages that was amazing. Food was great and right on the premises. Did not hear one bit of noise from the street. Super close to everything

disappointing experience
5 places on the expedia web site says that a full breakfast is included. IT IS NOT! Reservation was for 4 people but only 2 towels were in the room. Floor was so dirty that we couldn't let our baby crawl on the floor. No children's pool as listed on the web site. Hope that expedia corrects the information on the hotel!

Cute hotel in Anton Valley
We got two rooms (unexpected) for us and our 2 kids. We had booked 1 room but the queen bed was in one room and across the corridor was the other one with two twins. The hotel is cute, centrally located and perfect for a one night stay. The bathrooms are extremely small, you can barely move around and hot water comes only after 5 mins of continuous water running.

Nice location and food
Nice location in center of town across from the church. Rooms are smallish but clean and cozy for the price Food was good The service kind of lacked. They couldnt find a remote for the a/c and the linens and towels were cheap and worn No Bugs! and in the mountains, thats always good

the hotel was fine. The room was clean but on the small side. The staff was very helpful. Considering the price it was a reasonable choice.

Good option, but carefull with bait/switch
Good small hotel, room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom (altough some maintenance is needed). Restaurant in front of the hotel is really good. If you choose this for your El Valle stay, make sure the rate and conditions of your Expedia contract are followed. They tried to make me pay up front (even when the condition was free cancellation, pay when you get there from Expedia) nad they charged us more than the rate ("our standard rate is higher for that room"). In the end, with some negotiation, the increase in rate covered breakfast. This could have been very smooth stay, but needs to have a manager and not a clerk at the desk to make this calls.

Convenient location, clean and friendly.
Friendly staff and very accomodation. Visited just before Christmas and they were busy making crafty decorations and large pieces for the float in the upcoming parade. We were disappointed however with Hotels.com information. The cabin "did not" include breakfast and there was "not" and inside pool.

From the whimsy of folded towels to the embellished breakfast plates and the tastefully decorated, comfortable multiple indoor and outdoor common spaces, staying here was like being on a cruise. The proprietors were very friendly and made excellent recommendations about events and restaurants in the area. Staying here was better than staying in a 4-star hotel in Panama City!

The Anton Valley Hotel is truly a gem! Earl, the owner went above and beyond with amazing service. The rooms were clean, had hotwater showers, and tv. Breakfast in the morning is very affordable. There is a little restaurant next door that is also good. Earl gave us a good map and showed us the highlights of El Valle. Also if you ride the bus, it picks up right out front, making the trip back to Panama City easy.

Great hotel with superb service and close to many sights
From the moment we arrived, until we left we felt very much taken care of by the staff and owner. The room was great, but with small bathrooms. Very affordable retreat to a great location with many surrounding areas of nature providing some of its best beauty. We were provided good information on what to see, where to eat, etc. Breakfasts are very good.

Super hotel et emplacement. Quelques petits points faibles par contre. 1) Mal isolé conséquences : 1 chien vie en arrière et m'a réveillé 2 nuits parce qu'il jappait sans arrêt. Aussi, nous avons du nous organiser une chasse aux moustiques car les fenêtres ne fermaient pas complétement et les grilles sont trouées. 2) Le wifi ne se rendait pas dans nos chambres 3) Aucun employé ne pouvait nous parler en anglais ou en français 4) Certains accessoires de la cuisine sont absents ou défectueux. (toaster non fonctionnel) Bref, rien de dramatique mais certainement pas parfait.

No mantengo queja de la comida, la ubicación esta en un punto céntrico, de varios restaurantes, super mercados, entre otras cosas, el hotel es perfecto, con la vegetación, pero considero que deben mejorar en involucrarse más con el personal que se hospeda.

Es un hotel correcto. Ningún lujo en especial pero todo acorde a lo que ofrecían. Está muy bien situado. Mejoraría que ofrezcan desayuno incluido y el servicio de alguna del personal.
