"Dissapointed when we arrived as it took over an hour for someone to attend to check us in. Didn't get the "welcoming feel". Also were not aware that the restaurant and bar was closed on a Monday...we were looking forward to a relaxing drink and meal after a long drive! We were advised by the owner that there were plenty of bars/restaurants in the next village however we discovered many were closed on a Monday. "Campanile Hendaye is a convenient hotel for a one night stop. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was functional and had coffee making facilities which was a bonus the only real let down was that the plug in the bathroom was broken and it wasn’t possible to have a bath."
