Could not have done any better.

Cons: Brighter lights in the room.
The Turf Valley Resort was a literal respite from the storm. It snowed the morning of my arrival to the Resort. The side walks and pavement were cleared and salted. The reception desk was able to provide me with a room in spite of my 4 hour early arrival. The room was more than spacious and had everything a traveler could want or need. I especially appreciated the Keurig coffee maker and more importantly, the ceramic mugs provided by the resort. They could have gone with plastic or Styrofoam and instead, took the extra step and went with a traditional mug. My only complaint is that the room was dark. Even with ALL the lights on the room was still dim. If they were aiming to have a room conducive to relaxing or chilling in front of the TV then they hit their mark. :-) Otherwise, it was a great room and experience!

Really comfy, but

I needed a vacation and I found this place online. I spent three nights and it was really comfy and nice. But there were stinkbugs in my room. It didn't bother me much due to the fact that we're near the woods and the beautiful room made up for it, but just be aware, especially if you didnt plan on spending vacation time with insects. But trust me, I rather stinkbugs than bedbugs. Lol. Pros: Beautiful room with mini kitchenette, bathroom is gorgeous and updated, open door windows, huge flat screen TV, exquisite scenery, food is good. Cons: Stinkbugs roaming around. Spa is expensive. My massage was not as pleasant as I thought it would be. Mesus hands were cold and didn't focus on my sore spots after I repeatedly told her. I had to go back to NY to my own mesus and get another massage to see that there was a huge difference in price and technique. Butttt, if you're looking for a light massage and sauna experience, then by all means, this may be for you. Overall experience: 7/10.

The rooms are comfortable, the king suite especially spacious and nice. We have stayed here several times, and are always satisfied.

Wedding stay

Cons: Furniture could stand to be cleaned or replaced.
nice, quaint location for a family to stay. Wedding location was at a family house. The distance away from the wedding was perfect and we were pleased with the restaurant at well.

Pros: He food at the restaurant was excellent. I also really enjoyed using the sauna.
I will definitely stay here again. It was a really enjoyable experience for me.

Pros: Shower for handicap people, bed and the room in general.
Cons: Did not get wake-up call Room and Bathroom need more lighting
If you are handicapped this had a great shower for us. The only problem was the bathroom did not have enough lighting and the fan was connected to the light and was very loud. I was on the 6th floor at the end with the stairs to get out. Wheel chair people would have a real problem. The bed was very good. Really enjoyed the room.

Great place to stay. The experience was much better than we expected and what the web site conveyed. The only minor issue was that you can hear your neighbors in the room next to you. But, overall, a very nice place to stay.

When I called about a room rate I asked about any discounts such as senior or AARP. No was the answer. When I suggested an online rate he said ok and hung up. Upon arriving the fesk staff did not greet us and barely spoke to us. Upon leaving the staff never said good morning or anything. Just took our keys. By the way, the hotel was empty so being busy was not an issue. Hotel guests should feel like the staff appreciates their business. Our room was very nice and comfortable.
