Set among open paddocks and an olive grove just outside Mudgee, this paired cottage retreat blends country calm with refined, design-led comfort. Wake to wide skies, unwind on two private decks with BBQs, and soak in the peaceful scene of sheep grazing nearby. Each cottage offers its own modern kitchen, heating and cooling, and private laundry. Stroll along Church Street for heritage charm and local produce, wander over to Burnbrae Wines, or take a short scenic drive to the Mudgee Observatory.
Arrive along a quiet country drive bordered by open fields and olive trees, where Frantoio Cottage and Sevillano Cottage await—two neighbouring retreats offering peaceful, self-contained stays with the perfect balance of privacy and connection. Each cottage has its own entrance, deck, and outlook, allowing everyone space to unwind.
Frantoio Cottage opens to a generous alfresco area with rolling pastoral views—perfect for slow mornings, BBQ lunches, and golden-hour dinners. Inside, skylights and wide sliding doors brighten the open-plan living and dining area. The contemporary kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dining table for easy shared meals, while evenings invite board games, reading, or movies on the wall-mounted TV. Central air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans provide year-round comfort.
The bedrooms are calm and uncluttered: two with king beds and one with two single beds that can be combined into a king upon request for an additional fee of $30. A stylish bathroom offers a walk-in rain shower and bathtub, complemented by a separate powder room. A dedicated laundry with a combo washer/dryer adds convenience.
Sevillano Cottage sits within the olive grove, offering a more intimate, design-led atmosphere. Full-height glass doors open to a private covered deck with a BBQ and dining area. The cosy lounge includes split-system heating and cooling, while the sleek kitchen features a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and cooking essentials. A Euro-style laundry and spacious walk-in shower elevate everyday comfort. The serene bedroom is positioned for privacy and features a king bed, blackout blinds, a ceiling fan, and its own climate control.
Both cottages offer private outdoor spaces, reliable Wi-Fi, and ample parking. With sheep grazing nearby, rows of olive trees, and wide open skies, the setting feels wonderfully removed—yet still close to everything Mudgee offers.
During your stay, you and your group will have both cottages entirely to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
