My wife and I have been traveling to Aruba for over 15 years. We always look for somewhere different but most of the time also within a reasonable budget. We found this cozy residence at a reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was fabulous.. nice Palapas to sit underneath outside. Multiple air-conditioning units were ice cold.. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.. In addition it is located in an absolutely beautiful, quiet, peaceful neighborhood in the north section of the island, which added to the experience. If you’re looking for somewhere small, clean, comfortable, and without the big crowds, I would highly recommend Aruba Cunucu residence.

The hotel is definitely older, but it was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The biggest downside was the food. The buffet had very little variety, and the menu was pretty much the same every day. If you're on a diet or counting calories, don't expect many healthy or low-calorie options, they were very limited. The à la carte restaurants are first come, first served, so if you don't get there by 6:00 PM, there's a good chance you won't get a table. Another disappointment was that the pool closes at 7:00 PM, and there isn't a jacuzzi or any other place to relax afterward. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff were great, but the limited dining options and early pool closing time made the experience less enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and always stocked to my liking. The staff members were as helpful as could be.
