Our apartment was up the road from the hotel. I thought we had a river view but no.
It was clean but very dated. Also if you do not empty the bins they take 25 pounds from your deposit. There is a very small sign above the cooker stating this but could easily be missed.

Lovely spot for our 24 hours in York. It’s a 20-min or less walk to center and less to the train/ bus, but it’s pleasant and mostly flat. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was plentiful!
