After many visits to this beautiful city, I finally found a hotel that ticked all the boxes: an excellent price point (€40), a perfect location, and impressive room quality.
This is a genuinely smart hotel where almost everything is managed through their app — from effortless check-in and check-out to unlocking the room and even adjusting the temperature. It made the whole stay feel modern, smooth, and hassle-free.
The rooms themselves were clean, stylish, and comfortable, with an excellent bathroom that felt more like what you’d expect in a higher-priced hotel. The front reception team were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
Overall, this hotel was a fantastic find and exceeded my expectations in every way.
I will definitely be back!

Beautiful room. Very large space and modern. Heated towel rack and fridge did not work on our room but we were only staying one night so just informed them at check out. Great location in a quiet area but walkable. Had a late dinner at hotel and it was good. Sauna and pool area is a nice option after a long day of exploring. Would be nice if this area was open until 10 for that very reason.

Beautiful apartment. Extremely well equipped. Great location. Right near the basilica - easy walking distance to all the attractions. Loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Lovely old building. Highly recommend for a short or longer stay in Budapest.
Note: a little tricky to find for the first time. Apartment sends instructions which state “look for a brown gate”. In fact you need to look for a Black Door with a number 8 above. Tiny gold plaque with TG apartments on the left side of the doorway. If arriving early and planning to store bags, the code for this door didn’t come through until around 1pm. We wouldn’t have been able to get to reception to store our luggage without this code, so if arriving early be aware.

One night in Eger
One night. Realised family hotel after getting there. But inckuded dinner and breakfast. Not really great though. Had to move rooms could hearvthe bowling alley in our room. The pools and saunas were nice.
