It’s located within the old city and is walking distance to all the places one would go for sightseeing. It’s quite close to one of the city gates so can drop off is easy. I found the staff a but frustrating. I think they were trying to be hospitanke but we were arriving late and leaving early so we just wanted to get into our room and then leave quickly in the morning. The location is terrible didn’t kniw, we had tp park in very nerriw road that cause our car damaged as we are not use to drive in such dmall roads. Coming ti place is cozy, ckean, stuff very friendly and helpful, the other down side was the toiket door maje the loudest noise when u open or close so at nights was waking the whoke family up. Mohammad is the manager and he answered all of our questions. All staff including Ahmad, other Mohammad and shab were nice. It has elevator for the rooms on the second floor. The rooms have high ceilings. The Riad is about 86 years old. There was a covered garage very close to the Riad to park your car but it was full over the two nights that we stayed there. We had to park in the street which is safe and common. The manager arranged Kacem as our travel guide and we highly recommend him. He was awesome, took us around the city and showed us beautiful places that we couldn’t have found ourselves. The owner, who is charm personified, has spent a lot of time, energy and money into rebuilding this traditional Riad into an eye popping beauty. Fez is quite a challenging city as a tourist and it was lovely to have a haven to return to. Mohamed as waiter and immediate friend who lives near the blue gate, was always upbeat and willing to go the extra mile. Cant say enough positive things about this hotel - the dinner the first night we agree was one of the best of the entire two weeks - which is saying a lot for Morocco.
