Book Figeholm Bed & Breakfast

"The staff did not care to assist me in any way. My sofa bed was not made up. They asked me to open it myself, telling me the linens, pillows and the towels are all already inside. When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”. I asked if housekeeping can come to take care of this and was told they don’t do that. I wouldn’t trust the cleanliness of these sheets or pillows. When the sofa bed was opened, everything was so wrinkled and looked very unkempt. Not a pleasant look or a comfortable sleep sensation. Poorly done. "

"Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful property within walking distance to the city center. Our room was very comfortable with a private bath and a view of a small park across the street. Hotell Park is a beautifully decorated, homey property. The breakfast was fabulous with a variety of food to choose from. The staff were very accommodating and kind. We walked to a restaurant for dinner that evening, which was very good. There are quite a few different restaurants to choose from within walking distance from the hotel. I walked around the area by our hotel, and took some pictures of of the beautiful homes and buildings in Västervik, and just loved it. I felt very safe walking by myself, and enjoyed it immensely. Västervik was one of my favorite spots to stay while we were in Sweden. I would highly recommend staying at Hotell Park, if you enjoy a quaint, quiet, and peaceful location."

"Fun property but getting check in info required multiple calls, emails, and eventually Hotels.com intervention. Shouldn't be that much work by the guests to confirm check in and get a door code."
