"We stayed in very nice hotels on our Portugal trip, the Sapientia Boutique Hotel among them. The "stories" are mostly about how easy they were to reach and how convenient they were for parking. "Reaching" this one involved a 15-minute re-route, but once we took the right turn, parking was a breeze! The hotel sits opposite the retaining wall of the university above it. Guests can park all along the wall on the alley approaching the hotel and then place a parking permit on their dash. Finding the hotel in the first place was trickier! GPS had us approaching it. We were SO close! But we missed the last narrow, alley-like turn. Suddenly we had a 15-minute re-route until we could approach the hotel again. Play very close attention to your GPS!! Nice location. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. "

"Hotel Oslo had very freindly and helpful staff. The checkin process and the parking of the car was efficient. The location was a little bit out of the town center, but was near the river and the train station. The room itself was quite small, just enugh room for the bed, but was well kept. The bathroom shower was so small that when I dropped the soap, I couldn't pick it up, I could only stand up straight in the shower. If you need to shave your legs, there is no way possible."

"The service was excellent. The staff recommendations for restaurants were excellent. The room was great with great views and a great spa/hot tub. Loved the breakfast brought to our room. It was very good. The location is very close to Coinbra University. Dining was close. Shopping was reasonably close but coming back was steep uphill, but not a problem for us. I recommend parking at public parking by the River and take an Uber to the hotel. The cost was minimal. Parking by the hotel was limited and challenging for people not comfortable with narrow one way streets with a steep incline. I highly recommend this hotel. It was unusual but fun."
