Fabulous Filey
Had a fab few days break at The Bay Filey exploring the local area.The apartment was very spacious and kept to a high standard.The location was perfect for our stay and exceeded our expectations.Access to the beach was within a 10 minute walk from the apartment and we enjoyed the on site activities which included a Pool , Sauna, Steamroom and Gym.Communication from the owner was excellent and overall we were very impressed from start to finish and had a great and relaxing break. Thank you.

Long Weekend Break
Spent a few days with my son at the property. We both had a great time visiting the local area, in particular the coast at Bempton, Filey, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. The flat was just what we needed, but we only really used it for sleeping as the weather was kind to us.

Needs some maintenance - basics such as doors not shutting - no bins in bedrooms or bathrooms. No hand towels or t towels. No cleaning products for bathroom or kitchen. Never been anywhere before that did not provide basic cleaning products. Unable to adjust temperature in both showers. Did contact owner about this.

Spacious airy apartment, Graham super responsive
Great spacious first floor apartment in location as described. Enjoyed a nice stay at the bay, the apartment is nice and airy feels spacious with generous comfortable L leather sofa with sky Freeview channels & dvd player. Struggled to get WiFi useful for anything more than Facebook updates and emails checked the speed and less than 1mb not sure if theres a fault on the line perhaps that needs to be investigated with sky. Carpet to main living area looking abit tired and due for replacements ideally. Mattress to double room was on the soft, springy side, again maybe due for a replacement soon but the other half found it comfortable than others we have stayed, each to their own! Graham was in touch on resort facilities and great communication all round with resort map on check-in, can't fault the helpfulness - would stay again

Lovely two bed apartment, quietly situated, fully equipped with everything you'd need for the perfect stay. Very comfy bed and good quality bedding, which was very welcome. Would highly recommend and definitely book again

Really disappointing. We were informed by the host that there was a problem with the washer/dryer on the day we arrived (6/1/23). We were told someone was coming to look at it Saturday (7/1/23). The chap who came informed me that it couldn’t be fixed and needed to be replaced. The washer was not replaced while we stayed there for a whole month. No extra clean sheets or towels were provided for the whole of our stay. We therefore had to travel into Filey to use a laundromat to do washing at our expense. On the last day I stripped the double bed to make it easier for the cleaner and was appalled to see the mattress was very badly stained, no protection covers on mattress or pillows. I booked this for a month as your site stated in the facilities that there was a washer provided. Very, very disappointed.

We tried to contact the owner with no success. Lack of basic supplies like washing up liquid. Broken washing machine. Needed for swimming things. No Sky as advertised. Nice and clean apartment.

Really enjoyed our stay at the bay, lovely place and quiet with great facilities. Although the apartment needed some work, ie carpet is a trip hazard where worn-out, mattress are totally worn out and very uncomfortable. I came away with a bad back, but didn't change our view on our stay there. I did speak to the host Graham, and he did say it's been updated this winter after a very busy year.

Great apartment, plenty of space for four people with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The bay complex is lovely..probably a home from home for most people staying there and the swimming pool is a bonus. The only niggle i have is the pillows and mattresses need protective covers on them..also new pillows needed..lots of dribble stains🤤, but still managed to have a good night's sleep in a comfy bed.😄
