Unusable Master Bed, No Assistance from Management company.
We were very disappointed to find out that the master bed was completely broken and unusable. To make things worse, it seems they knew it was broken and tried to cover it up but placing a paint bucket under the bed to hold up the frame. When we contacted Vacassa management, they gave us the run around and never showed up to fix it. We requested a partial reimbursement and have gotten the run around again. Needless to say, we would not recommend staying at this location or any vacassa managed property.

Best ocean experience ever
Words cannot express how impressive this location is. It simply cannot be beaten. I looked up and down the South Carolina and Georgia coast for something on the beach and this is literally the best one that is ACTUALLY ON THE BEACH. You want ocean sounds? You got 'em. The best part about this stay was it being the off-season. The sun rose on your left and set on your right, covering the balcony the entire time. Despite it being only a high of 55, reading in the sunshine on the balcony was the highlight. There is an elevator super close to the room, there are carts available to transport things up and down, and parking was super easy. I couldn't believe my luck. The furniture was comfortable, the water pressure was great and the cleanliness was top-notch. The only downside I experienced was the home not coming equipped with parchment paper or aluminum foil and the king bed in the master bedroom is sloped (likely due to heavy weight being in the center of the bed over the course of a long time). There likely will not be enough hot water to fill the tub, either, but that is not a worry. During my stay, there was some unfortunate construction taking place in the next room over that elicited some horrible sounds, but the property managers have been super accommodating. Parking pass pickup was really easy. Access was simple and easy. Comfort was 100/100. Views were the best I've ever had. Wi-Fi did leave some things to be desired, but it did not matter that much.

Nice Condo Very loud disruptive contruction during our stay.
We stayed in the Condo for 2 nights and were so disapointed as there were construction workers working on the roof right above our condo (with a crane) until 430pm each evening and the construction started at 730 am each morning we were there. It was so loud there was no way you could sleep or even sit out on the balcony while they were working. We tried to sit on the balcony to drink our coffee but debris was falling in our coffee and we could actually see the workers from the balcony. The noise was so loud at times we couldnt have a conversation on the balcony. We complained to the management company who wasnt very responsive, althugh they did offer to refund us 10% of the cost of the 2 nights. When we werent satisfied with this they offered a 20% refund. Its been over 2 weeks and I still havent seen the refund. There were signs around the property saying they would be doing construction during our stay, but the managment company did not inform us of this when we booked the property. The condo is in a great location and was nice and clean, but we were so disapointed with the noise that was there the duration of our stay.

Love!!!

Perfect proximity to beach and Folly Beach town.
Loved how close this property is to the beach. Didn't have to lug all our beach gear far. Also could walk into town for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Location is awesome. If you want beach front,.depending on the tide, you can't get any closer.

We loved the condo. We did have one adult who had to sleep on a twin bed, and both of the twin beds are extremely uncomfortable. I’d try to put at least one hood mattress in that room. Also the tub/shower in both baths had standing water ankle deep every time you shower. The master was great! Everyone wanted to use that shower.

The condo was spacious, mostly clean (my granddaughter found a few goldfish under the couch), comfortable, and a great location. We used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks and it was well stocked. We had a rainy day and played a few of the games, so thank you! The beds and furniture were comfortable and the sound of the ocean from the master bedroom helped me sleep! The condo is right on the ocean and the views are incredible. We received door codes and all instructions needed before we checked in, which was great. The condo was undergoing some maintenance while we were there. There was power washing going on right outside of our door and my granddaughter's bedroom for 2 days starting at about 7am, which was pretty loud. Good thing she is a good sleeper and we are early risers! The closest elevator was also shut down a day into our stay, so we had to use the stairs or walk to the further elevator. We understand these things need to happen to keep the building in good shape, it just would have been nice to know before we booked. Overall, if we were ever in the area again, we would stay again.

We loved the location and the layout of the condo. Unfortunately cleanliness is not their #1 priority. Took pictures and sent to them. Appliances were filthy, and dishwasher was broken. thankfully we did not need to use but was worried of bugs from it. Mattresses were definitely old in all the rooms. If properly maintained it would be a gem!

Wonderful location, great view
You can't beat this location. Right on the beach steps from downtown. The apartment is on the top floor which is great- we had pelicans flying over our heads many times a day. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. The ducts were filled with dust and the place smelled very musty. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend. We would stay here again.

Management was a pleasure to work with. I would like to recommend an upgrade to the TVs. We cast to the main living room tv and then couldn't get it back to cable to work properly. The service went in and out causing choppy cast viewing. An "upgrade" menu was suggested on the tv each time before viewing. We had a wonderful time at this property -- great restaurants, close grocery store and of course the ocean. Perfect location. 5 stars.

The condo was great. Just as described. The location made it a short ride to downtown Charleston and the surrounding islands. The town is quaint and viby with great ocean access. We loved watching the beautiful sunrises and the surfers off the beach.

Golf and the beach
Came for the recent PGA event but also wanted to enjoy the beach. This place was perfect because we could walk to restaurants and bars in the area. Enjoyed our stay but unfortunately will no longer be using VRBO because of their association with Chrissy Teigen.

The view is extraordinary and the condo has potential, but needs updating before we will rent this one again. Kitchen needs new pots and baking pans, although the Keurig was a nice touch. Beds need new mattresses - all are hard and uncomfortable. Den needs comfortable seating. Master bath needs a thorough cleaning (top of shower). A table for the deck when it's warmer weather would be great.

Family Beach Trip to Folly
The condo was a great fit for our family of 6 who wanted walking distance to the restaurants, beachfront view and direct access to the beach, and to a pool. It met all of our needs. I would recommend adding 2 more chairs on the deck (there were 6 chairs on the deck in the photos but only 4 when we arrived). Booking the condo was simple however I could not get the local Vacasa office to return my calls or emails when I had questions before our trip and during the trip. However when visiting the office in person, the front desk representative was friendly and helpful. The condo was clean for the most part but we did find food from previous guests on the carpet and under furniture. But everything else was clean. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to those looking for a family beach vacation with plenty of things around you to do and see.

LOVED the beach but not the accommodations
The beach, Folly Beach, was good. We had a chair service set up an umbrella and chairs for us each day. The three bedroom condo on the 4th floor was okay. Things were quiet and was full of family goodness. BUT this property is ill run. ILL RUN!!! The alarms were going off constantly . Why? Because of some water leak in the parking area under the building. Every time the alarm went off the Fire Department came. Everything shut down. The elevator was constantly breaking down. When on the 4th floor and needing to get something large down to the car, like a baby carriage, we had to use the stairs. Which, I don’t mind using the stairs and would do so many times each day. Not when I have heavy loads to carry up to room or from the room back down to the ground floor. The most annoying thing was that we could only have ONE key fob. We had two cars, but only one key fob. That mean that we had to coordinate our comings and goings with our two cars. Also going to the beach and pool area. Annoying when we are paying almost four grand for a week at the beach. The unit was fine, but with better management our trip could have been stellar. In spite of the annoyances, my family had a grand time. We won’t go back to Folly ... but we had a grand time.

I LOVE this condo!!
This is a very well stocked condo and very clean. The only things I can think that need attention is the sliding glass door in the living room (ours was very difficult to open because it doesn't slide well), and the jacuzzi doesn't have much water pressure so you're not getting a good massage from the jets. Other than that I LOVE this condo!! I wish I could stay in an equivalent condo no matter where we go!!

Great Oceanfront view
Great view & location . The beach is very nice and location is convenient with about a 10 mile drive to downtown Charleston. The Layout of the apartment is nice and it’s great to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. This place can really be a lot nicer but it’s long overdue an update and some repairs. Both handles on the sliding glass doors one in the bedroom and the living room or broken. Couldn’t even get the liver room door open seems to be fixed closed. There were spots on the walls and ceilings that need repair either plaster or paint, furniture was pretty old and worn. Madras says very hard specially king size in the master bedroom was very stiff and squeaky when you move. Bottom of master bathroom shower has big line of dark mold that needs to be removed. It was some other things but not time to detail everything. Also.could use a curtain over that front side panel door window, for privacy as anybody walking by can see in. Finally TV only had basic cable . I No that sounds a bit negative on things but want to paint a clear picture. We still had a great time and the view was really wonderful just trying to be helpful to the owners and anybody coming to stay. Had this place been updated would’ve scored higher for sure

Couldn’t be better
The title says it all. Location was primo. Being able to sit on the balcony with coffee to watch the waves and dolphins up close is what vacations are all about, I think. Restaurants were within easy walking distance. The condo was lovely and just like home with every convenience. Having a pool was a bonus. This was a perfect place to stay on Folly.
