I was skeptical to stay at Le Meridien after reading some of the reviews, but it turned out to be a decent hotel. I’ve stayed in nicer 4 star hotels, and I think a few additions would make this hotel much better. Firstly, the service isn’t at a 4 star level. Staff are nice but the service doesn’t go above and beyond as it might at some other four star properties.
The room we had was nothing special, and was not as clean as I’d expect for what we paid.
The pool, patio area and lobby/bar are very nice. Breakfast menu was nice (but expensive).
We chose this hotel as a pit stop as we were arriving late at night and staying elsewhere later in the week. The proximity to the airport is super convenient.
Overall I’d rate it 4/5. I think a few small improvements (little more attention to detail while cleaning and improving service) would make a big difference. :)
