Great Place close to beach
Nice place that had everything you needed. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella all provided and a 2 minute walk to a beach that was amazing and empty. Not sure if the time of the year helped that, but it was not busy which made days on the beach almost private. Would definitely stay again.

Came here with my husband for a quick spring break getaway. The property was super clean and had everything we needed. We were a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk from all of restaurants. We really appreciated that beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Coral Tides Replacement
Our family timeshare since 1989, directly across the street, was suddenly closed, wirh our 2024 reservation canceled. Being able to find a replacement pet friendly rental became priority, and we were thrilled to find Saltyside Bungalow so near. Clean, comfortable, and quiet, in "our" neighborhood made our stay very enjoyable. The fenced in deck and yard were especially wonderful for our puppy ... And, DVR TV was an appreciated bonus. We're looking forward to our next stay!

Thanksgiving Getaway
We stayed at this property during our visit with family for the holiday. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated but the furnishings were a little worn but comfortable. I loved being able to walk to the beach just a short distance away. The neighborhood has some nice restaurants if you don’t want to cook. The owner was easy to communicate with and promptly answered all my questions.

Great location
The property had everything my husband and I needed for our mini vacation. The beach was just steps away and there were several dining options within a very short walk. Alida was extremely accommodating and responded very quickly to my pre-arrival questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect, as always
This is my 4th stay here - it's my sliver of paradise. I love everything about this place! Once you park, you don't need to get back in your car. Beach is across the street, restaurants/bar down the street, the pier, also down the street - everything is within walking distance. The house is always clean and well stocked with basic necessities - even has beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. Great location and the owner is wonderful. Thank you, I'll be back next year!

Lovely property, nice beach across the street
The accommodations here are very nice. Great little kitchen with nice gas stove, ice cold refrigerator and functional sink. Bed was comfortable as was the couch and chairs in living area. The beach access across the street is nice, as is the beach area. Nice stay. Oh, and there are some fantastic restaurants just up the beach by the pier. We highly recommend Lucky Fish!

Quite area, very little traffic. Not a ton of people on the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and pier. Quaint bungalow. Clean, back patio was spacious. Internet was fast and everything worked. Solid place to stay.

When I got to the place, it was so clean and cute. Everything you need to get started but food is provided. Very comfortable. Very quite. Loved drinking coffee in the mornings and watching the iguanas.

This little hideaway fit the bill! The fact that we were four, my husband and I and our 2 daughters are over 21, meant that the bungalow was a bit small. However, the beach was truly steps away, and the bungalow itself was lovely.

Family friendly location
My partner and I stayed here with our two year old and had a great time. The space was very clean and functional,. It's right across the street from the beach, and walking distance to a few restaurants. It was all very easy, which is what we were looking for.

Property was excellent. Location, amenities were top notch. One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Beach access was an easy 2 - 3 minute walk. Beach chairs and umbrella were a definite plus. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay here again.

Was very clean. Two small maintenance issues. One resolved very quickly with a nonfunctional washer. Deadbolt was inoperable during our stay but scheduled to be looked at. Did not feel unsafe regardless of the lock issue. Close to the beach and accessible to many restaurants and grocery options.

Perfect vacation spot
Pompano Beach is a great little town. This is our second time staying here (last year we stayed in her unit next door). The place is comfortable, well appointed and perfect for the two of us and our fur baby. The beach is so close it's practically in your front yard. I absolutely recommend staying here if you want to get away to Pompano. The pier and shoppes and dining are a short walk away.

Will definitely be back. Place was “as is” in pictures, super clean and comfortable. It was so close to the ocean and Pompano beach pier and restaurants. Alida was very responsive in answering any messages I sent. She was very accommodating for our 1 year old with a high chair and a crib. It was a perfect little place for our little family!

I can’t get enough of this place. Its my 2nd time and I plan on returning every year. Everything about it, is perfect for me… size, location, yard for my dog, short drive from home and the owner is so pleasant to deal with. Wonderful family-friendly-safe environment!

Absolutely Wonderful!
We had a short stay at Alida's place, but we truly enjoyed it. This is the definition of a quiet, low-key getaway. The walk to the beach was a breeze, even with a 2yo and all of the beach stuff. And the restaurants down by the pier are an easy walk, as well, and well worth the visit. We truly fell in love with this area during this stay; thank you!

Awesome, amazing, clean.
I booked last minute and had no issues at all. Probably our best vrbo experience yet! The host went above and beyond, responded super fast and made us as comfortable as possible. I wish every vrbo was run by Alida. The place was clean as could be and very well maintained. The location is about as good as it gets for the price. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone going to pompano. 10 out of 10!

Loved this place!
I fell in love with this unit and its location - so much so, I don't want to tell anyone about it! The unit was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, the master bed was very comfortable and my adult daughter said the sleeper sofa was comfortable, too; the decor and furniture is nice, modern and clean. I LOVED the fenced in property for my small dog - it was fabulous to be able to open the door and let her out without any worries. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beach was a very short walk away and very convenient to be able to to come and go - it was never crowded like the public beach down the road and it was safe to leave our stuff on the beach and come back later. I fell in love with this place and I definitely plan on returning next summer. Thank you!

Super location, cute place too!
This place is in great proximity to many things (The pier, a market, town pub, Publix (a little bit of a walk), one or two surf shops and some eateries. We were in town for a long weekend (30th high school reunion) and so we decided we would Uber anywhere we needed. Well, we needed no Uber (except for airport transportation). We would stay here again as we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The kitchen has enough amenities (could use some true coffee mugs and new ice cube trays) to make staple dinners. The beach equipment was so nice to have and to not have to spend a fortune to get some and throw it away. Shower was clean as were all of the surfaces. We had a night where there was someone parked in our designated spot (turned out to be a person in the hotel across the street) which made for a bit of anxiety to park our friends car (who are locals) to visit us (as there is no on street parking allowed). Owner was very responsive and seemed to be in the proximity of the area (not intrusive) and was aware of parking issues. The area seemed calm and quiet. We loved our weekend and would love to visit again.

Great location and very clean property
This condo is very conveniently located and it’s clean inside. The kitchen has all the appliances you need (but no dishwasher-no big deal for us). It’s a very short walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the Pompano Pier. Alida (owner/manager) was very responsive with communication. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
