Dated but still a nice place to stay. Decent breakfast and great location.

Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef. She was a military cook for nine years. She loves cooking and adds much to the menu. We walked out with chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. The whole experience was good.

The room itself was pretty good. This is a a former courtyard by Marriott properties that is going to decline no doubt because you can tell the new owners are doing nothing in the way of upkeep There’s a beautiful courtyard area, but the furniture is shabby. The lobby is ample size, but things look pretty shop worn. Staff was very unfriendly. And the breakfast was about us basic as possible, and they didn’t replenish milk, food items after they ran out The room was clean, except for a really gross couch. Bed was nice and the bedding was nice. If you’re happy, just staying in your room and have everything you need there, this is the place to be.

Good location and close to numerous dining and shopping options. AC worked great! Dropped a star because the bathroom door in our room did not close properly. Not a big deal as it was just my husband and I in the room, but maybe something to get fixed before the next guest thinks it is a big deal.

Always a comfortable stay.
