This recently updated third-floor gulf front unit has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beautifully decorated living room has a queen sofa bed and a flat panel television along with a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with seating for four at the dining table along with everything you'll need to prepare meals. The bathroom has a bathtub and a single sink vanity area. you'll agree this unit will become your home away from home.

Great view. Easy beach access. Beach chairs included and set up for you. Beautiful water and beach. Check in/out process easy. Clean and perfect for 2 people. Bed was really uncomfortable, so I recommend taking something to make it softer. Great place to stay and would stay there again.

Nice balcony w great view n good seating. Appliances s bit dated n you need to bring everything. We stayed at a similar property last year and it was nice to have coffee pods etc. overall I enjoyed it greatly. Nice and quiet n a more private beach than bigger cities. Love the less commercial beach setting.

Great location. Great place to stay for a couple. Condo could use a deep clean. Has carpeting and my feet stayed black if I didn’t wear shoes at all times. Couch was dingy, but I always use the sheets set to cover the couch anyway. . I would stay here again for sure. Bed was very comfortable!! Kitchen has everything you could possibly need.

Nice place
Great place to stay other than the sofa bed I slept on was terrible. The mattress was very uncomfortable and you could feel the wires sticking out. I also had rather be supplied with clean sheets and towels and not have to wash them myself. The stay is quite expensive and every other place I have visited accommodated their guest with fresh linens. Other than that I enjoyed the stay.

It was awful save your money.
Too many horrible things to list. If you stay there it's a beautiful location but you better hope nothing catches fire. The fire extinguisher in my Room was 11 years old and there was not a up-to-date a fire extinguisher on any floor I checked, all 7. The amount of OSHA violations was absolutely astonishing. I don't know how these people get away with operating this way. I feel horrible for anybody that has to work for them.

We rented this property with excitement of enjoying the balcony each day. Two days before arriving we received a text that the balcony was not usable due to construction. With it being spring break there was not enough time to pivot to another place. We were frustrated and stayed with this rental—huge mistake. Not only was the balcony not usable, but there were jackhammers being used on the concrete building from 8:00am-7:00pm EVERY DAY. It was awful. I can overlook the brick hard bed, couch that is uncomfortable as all heck, tub that has permanent dirt stains, ceiling that may never have been painted since it was built in 1984, the loud partying neighbors, but the construction was over the top. Whatever you do—don’t stay here. The owner flat out doesn’t take care of their property, nor do they care out renters or they would tell you about the awful construction before you rent. Trust me. I’d have left zero stars had it be possible.

We arrived just in time for check in.. the young lady at the desk had the BEST attitude. She has all the answers and w a very helpful. Our room was all we expected.. small kitchen and separate room where we slept. Our ocean view was all we hoped for. Overall our trip was great!!

The condo is pretty small. It was myself, my husband and our two little ones. I didn’t realize how tiny this place actually was. We had originally planned to cook in some but with the size of the oven and kitchen overall wasn’t really able to do so. Communication with vacasa is not easy. When you message them, you never hear back. This place is in a great location though and the beach service was nice. It was very clean and the check in and out process was easy.

a great room at a great resort
We love going to Ft Walton Beach and have stayed at the Islander several times. This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this room. They have done some updates - new tub and surround in the bathroom and new faucet and counter top in the kitchen. It is a lovely room, very comfortable mattress, couch/chair and large tv.

Get away weekend!
I had everything ready to book a condo online, but the web page wasn’t taking my payment, so I called the site and they explained me that the room was booked already but offered me another one. Excellent view of the beach! Well equipped with kitchen utensils. The only down side is that I did see 2 roaches, one in the shower curtain and the other one on the wall behind the couch. I also found a small wavy hair on one of the bathroom towels. Plus it had some stains too, so I don’t know if those towels were used or what. Other than that, it was a decent place!

The room was clean. Balcony was tiny. Too small to enjoy. The water would not get hot. Warm at best. Elevator was terrible. Noisy and slow. The property was clean but needed paint and updating. I stay several times every summer from orange beach to destin and this was by far the worst experience. I left a day early because i just didnt like the property. I wasnt going to leave a bad review but since u insist by emailing me several times wanting a review so u got it. I will never stay at the Islander again

Loved this property. The kitchen is separate from the living area (that wasn’t obvious in the pics). Spent so much time on the balcony watching the ocean. Beautiful view, lovely room, we will be back.
