This was the worst experience I had ever had in a hotel in my life. We had been driving 10+ hours on our way home to Maine from Maysville Kentucky and we planned to Stop In Scranton to stay the night. We had stayed at a Wyndham Days inn in Maysville Kentucky and it was excellent so we assumed the one in Scranton would be a nice place too. We also felt that after a long day on the road it would be nice to go to a pool. We were bringing much food with us in a cooler and requested a room with a microwave and refrigerator. When we checked in we soon realized that the room did not have these things. I went to the front desk and the gentleman working the front desk had us switch rooms. When we got in the new room it had a microwave but still no refrigerator. He told us that was all he had, so I was going to put Ice in the bath tub to try to not lose all of our cold food, but first my wife wanted to check and make sure the shower had hot water. When she turned it on the handle came off and water started spraying everywhere uncontrollably soaking my wife and I. The Guy at the front desk couldn't reach the maintenance guy so he moved us to a third room. By this time we had been trying to get settled in for the better part of 2 hours. We went to turn on the television and there was no cable connection. The front desk guy came up again and had to get several different parts from different rooms and after another hour I was finally able to get the connection to work. There's more
