Just a simple hotel. It does do the job for visiting the area. The staff at reception spoke good English and were willing to help me when it was needed. The internet was spotty, I didn’t like that it would time out and I would have to write reviews for the hotel to get onto the internet again. I found the upstairs pool staff pushy. I just wanted to relax, enjoy the view and do a few things online and they kept trying to put a menu in my face and sell me things. I advise you to NOT use the Foz Trip tour desk in the lobby. Bad service, bad attitude. I bought two tickets from them They didn’t tell me the boat safari had a cut off time, so that was bad on them. I missed the boat which I wanted to do before I even arrived, was very disappointed. Frustrating that I paid for the ticket ahead of time also. I went to the desk twice to get a refund during the day, nobody there. I emailed, got no reply. I tried to mention it to them at check out so they could process the refund and she scolded me for not coming down sooner. Was messaging me on WhatsApp and was very unprofessional and rude. Told me to stay 5 more minutes. My flight had been cancelled the day before and I needed to get to the airport. She won’t give me a refund and told me to take it up with my bank, which is just more work for me to do. I ended up having to block Foz Tripz on WhatsApp because the messages were inappropriately rude to a customer for something that was their fault.
