"The hotel is great and staff are great too. It's close enough to the train station. My only gripes are that the hotel only does posh food and the restaurant is closed on a sunday so you've got to find your food elsewhere. But I'd definitely stay again. "
"I stayed at Fuglsancentret because I had a meeting there the following morning. I arrived at night and the check-in could not have been any easier. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully comfortable and spacious and it even had a little patio outside. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, this was a great stay."
"If you like nature and peace and quiet - this is the place. The staff was wonderful and I had a very nice room with a view of the water.
Recommend for business or short visit"
"We felt like family at this very charming and historic hotel. Anders and Louisa are such friendly and helpful managers. We do not speak Danish but their English was more than perfect. Our dining experiences were outstanding and the breakfasts were superb. We were in Denmark for meetings and the hotel’s facilities were excellent for all of us. Thank you for an exceptional stay. "
"Everything has been great from the moment we checked in. Admittedly it was during a rare Danish heatwave but the staff are super, handy shop on site.
The pool is great with the slides. On site cafe has a limited menu by good for us.
Accommodation is just what we needed, well equipped kitchen, excellent free WiFi.
Site is quiet and the coastline is amazing onto the Fjord. "

"We stayed for one night at the lodge Billund, arriving late and leaving early for a trip to legoland.
Our room was spotlessly clean, comfy beds with good quality bed linen and fluffy pillows. Very quiet even though our bedroom was next to the stairwell.
I can't comment on facilities as our stay was so brief but I got a good impression overall, Staff were welcoming and the hotel is very well kept. It's only a 500 metre walk to legoland itself.
Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. My only comment would be allergen info displayed with food items would be helpful. My son has a milk allergy, but staff were very helpful in obtaining this information for me on my asking."
"Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location.
The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options.
I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out systen, as this didn't really work, but this is a minor issue.
I certainly recommend this hotel. "
"Amazing place for kids who love Lego, lots of play areas around the hotel to keep them busy, friendly staff and great food. Best place for a weekend away with kids!"

"Good for families with a little ‘wild’ children. Private pool. Can be heated but not much in winter since weather will cool it down during night. But possible to be used for hours per day. Fee for pool heat. All 4 children had their own room. Big space. Basement with table soccer and ping pong. Good for a little competition. 7 eur for a 6 person Uber to old town. 9 minutes. Market at the marina sometimes. Little supermarket here too. Few restaurants and bars 7 min walk away too."
