"This is a beautiful hotel. Everything is first class. With views of a park & pond, it also has easy access to the highway and to Sneek Center."

"Really liked many aspects of this hotel. I was there in the winter for a visit to one of the many yards that calls Makkum home. Restaurant and service was two highlights and the view from the room was great. Bed and bedding, not so much, the team would need to switch things up for me to sleep well with both feeling dated and bedding not fitting well to the bed. "

"The hotel is clean standard hotel it does the job! Rooms are specious and clean. Distance to lueewarden center is about 15 minutes drive. Rooms are No smoking if somebody wants to smoke there is designated area for smoking right out side in the open ( back yard) Service at the bar is good and swift and the owner is a friendly fellow. I felt good staying in that hotel and will stay again if I go to lueewarden. "

"As others have reviewed the place needs updating/ renovating. The next doors sounds comes through into my room so are hallway sounds. Breakfast was good, location is fantastic, staff is amazing (all of them)!"
