Excellent location and service. Worth repeating that the mattresses need to be replaced. Still a great downtown option right next to the gaslight district.

We had an amazing stay at the Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla over the Fourth of July weekend! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. The entire facility was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. We had dinner at A.R. Valentien, where our waiter, Ryan, and the entire staff were attentive, welcoming, and provided outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious, light, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed breakfast at The Grill. My 9-year-old son absolutely loved the pancakes, while my husband and I both ordered omelets that were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Every meal we had was excellent. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pool and enjoying the gorgeous views. The hotel also made the Fourth of July extra special for families by hosting a fun celebration with crafts, cookies and lemonade, cookie decorating, and kites for the kids to fly. Our son had the best time, and we loved the warm, family friendly atmosphere. The valet staff were also wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. This was truly a memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return next year. If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, delicious dining, and a welcoming family atmosphere, we highly recommend staying here!
