Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family……

“Hemos pasado dos noches en esta bonita casa de la Garrotxa. Nos recibió Angels, la propietaria, que con mucha amabilidad nos explicó todo. El sitio es ideal, cerca de Olot, pero en medio de las montañas. La casa preciosa, perfectamente equipada, no le falta ningún detalle y está decorada con mucho gusto. Hemos disfrutado de la terraza, la barbacoa, y el inmenso jardín con la piscina. Una experiencia para repetir.”

“The apartment is a bit of a hike up some stairs. It is somewhat spare on the interior, but has everything you need. It also has a nice view of the river. The host,Xavier, is super cool. He is very helpful and friendly. When he learned that my son is a musician, he brought a full-size keyboard upstairs for him to practice on. The apartment is spacious and well illuminated.
