“The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.”

“Lovely cottage in the Cotswolds. We stayed here for its proximity to Badminton Horse Trials and we were not disappointed. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and garden as the cottage had everything we needed and very comfortable.”

The listing clearly states that guests have access to a BBQ (as shown on the website), but the real photos do not confirm the presence of any barbecue area. In our messages, we were informed at the last moment that there was no BBQ at all. The host even suggested that we could bring our own barbecue, which clearly shows that the listing was misleading. “The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us.”

“It was a very cute place. Very quiet and peaceful. The ceiling was low on the top floor and the stairs were steep but it worked well for our family of 5 that has older kids.”
