Beautiful cabin
Highest point for spectacular mountain views. Clean property amazing beds andany amenities. The hot tub was huge and hot! It's perfect. No issues whatsoever.

"Classy" Bear Cabin is appropriately named!
This property was perfect for my family of 10 with regard to sleeping arrangements, pots/pans, dishes, glasses and utensils to prepare meals, inside dining area as well as bbq and hot tub for outdoor fun. It was very comfortable, fully stocked with most any need for adults as well as children and infants. It even had electronic games for the kids to play. My family and I were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin and location!!

Really nice place!
Loved our stay here. House was clean and view of the mountains is amzing here. Got to see bears. They didnt bother us, it was so nice to see them up close. Definitely recommend.

Bear y roomy
Cabin was great and very comfortable. Ride down was a pain but as expected being up the mountain. Lots of Bear. We saw bear everyday at the cabin, literally at the door step and in both of our cars - make sure you lock the doors. They were very respectful only ate what they could find, opened a couple hatches, slobbered on a few things but didn’t damage anything.. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Propane was empty so couldn’t use the fireplace and couldn’t find the keys for the trash. Overall great place. Clean and amazing views would definitely stay again.

Great Cabin- Bears Everyday
We had a great time staying in this cabin. It was about a 12 minute drive to all of the action. The owners were very responsive and ensured that everything was clean and ready for our scheduled check in. As an added bonus- there were bears around every day.

Beautiful cabin high up on the mountain. 2 decks, hot tub, beautiful family room with large 2 story windows overlooking the mountain. Peaceful getaway for the whole family. Highly recommend Paula Deens Family kitchen in Pigeon Forge for delicious family style meal.

Overall, the house was fantastic! Clean, plenty of amenities, and activities for kids. We loved being at the mountain top for the views, but it made it tricky to get down into the downtown area, just depends on your family's needs/ interests. We would definitely stay there again!

I must start by saying that my wife is a clean nut in a very good way, but can go too far for some. There were some obvious issues related to cleaning which should not have been overlooked considering the additional cleaning fee, 3 stars. However, effort was made to address the noted issues which satisfied my family, 4 stars versus 5 because I repaired a nail sticking up from the carpet upstairs and one sticking up too much on the deck. Safety is too important. However, I can see how they could be overlooked. Overall, we had a Great stay because my two 5 year old grandkids really enjoyed themselves, 5 stars. This place is perfect for a family with kids. I would return. Please clean the top of the refrigerator. Thanks Regards, Artis

Great getaway
This is a great cabin and can accommodate a lot of people. It was very clean and the check in process and directions were very clear. It has a gorgeous view and is a short drive to downtown or the park entrance. It is up a very steep and winding road so be aware of this if that will be a problem with your vehicle or driver.

Perfect Getaway
This cabin was perfect for the whole family! We have children ranging from 6-14 years old and everyone loved this cabin. The roads were steep on the way up the mountain, but the view from the hot tub made the drive worth it! I’d recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great Smoky Mountain getaway!

Great cabin!
Cathy was an amazing host! She was prompt with communication and answered any/all questions we had. The cabin was perfect! Not only did we have plenty of views but everything we could’ve needed for our 5 day stay. Grandparents, parents and kids attended together. The kids were thrilled to see the arcade game, pool table, air hockey and of course the view of their loft room. We ended up using the grill on the porch for a night. Pretty neat to grill in the snow! All showers gave steamy relief to our not so young bodies after each days activities. Hot tub worked and towels were provided. The road to parking is steep, although the spaces are level, us Floridians weren’t used to driving in the snow. So we stocked up the night before given the forecast. Luckily, the nearest full grocery store was an easy 20 min ride in either direction. A beautiful drive to each fun filled destination. The National forest, Gatlinburg, Ober ski and Pigeon Forge were within 20 mins from the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone! Thank you again Cathy for the amazing stay!!

Amazing view but it's a steep climb up the mountain to get to the cabin. Hot tub was a great size to enjoy and hold all of our guests. The 3 bedrooms were great with the King beds and all a bathroom; this worked great with 3 couples staying in the cabin. The upstairs bedroom in the loft area gets super bright as soon as the sun comes up since it's open. Wouldn't plan on sleeping in late in this room. One of the master bedrooms in the basement had a leak in the ceiling. It happened two days in a row. The owner was super responsive and came out both times (even on NYE) to help with the issue and even change the bed clothes where the leak wet the bed. This did add a little bit of stress but also understand this can happen.

This was one of the best getaway vacations we have ever had. Highly recommend!!!
This was the first we have been to the Smoky Mountains. It was nothing short of a spectacular stay. The cabin had everything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained. The cabin comfortably accommodated our group of 5. We loved that it was just far enough away from all the attractions yet kept the staying in the mountains feel. We loved the daily visits from the local bears, observing them from a distance of course! What a neat experience!! We have already started to talk about our next visit!

First trip to Gatlinburg and it was amazing. The cabin was great size for a family of 8. Plenty of space. The beds were firm but comfortable. Downstairs had no heat but the host was great and brought us heaters and extra blankets. The view wasn't that great but still had perfect scenery. The drive up mountain to cabin was scary but we survived. Overall amazing stay. Thank you again for great hospitality!

Mountain Top Retreat
The road to the top was a bit terrifying. Decided not to go down the mountain unless a real need therefore dod not do as much as planned. The cabin was very nice. Saw quite a few bears. View was okay but not spectacular. Overlooking Ober was rather nasty. The view up and down the mountain was spectacular. The leaves were happily in color. We did drive up and down in low and even put in 4 wheel drive on a few turns. Only real negative was the bright sun light in the morning making cooking in the kitchen difficult and heated up the room the air conditioner had trouble cooling on one day. The cool air took care of that problem by leaving the front and back doors open. We had a great time being together.

Vacation get away with friends
Had a wonderful time, beds were firm but not uncomfortable. We did have a bear come into our deck that didn’t hurt or bother us. Just listen to instructions from owners and keep everything locked including windows. My husband did open door as he was not sure if it was still there as it was dark (he is brave) and it was and the bear ran back down and away. Overall had an amazing time playing pool, watching view and cooking lots of food in the beautiful open kitchen.

The property was among the best I've ever stayed in. It had the most well-equipped kitchen ever. The bedrooms were spacious and the neighborhood safe. The only suggestion is that the downstairs shower have more safety elements e.g. things to hang on to. The bear event was more than expected. A great story to share with friends. Four bears car set off a car alarm. One crawled out with food but lost all the potato chips as it made its escape. Thank You

Wonderful sunrises at great location
We had such a great time, saw the neighborhood bear a few times and completely enjoyed those early morning sunrises. The house was clean and just as described. Great communication. Location is up on the mountain, so expect a curvy drive, I wouldn't want to do that in the dark. All in all, a great stay.

Pictures don’t do it justice
The cabin truly does exceed expectations. it’s bigger, nicer, and has an even better view than pictures could ever show. Would 100% state here again. Only complaint was that only 1 shower head in loft shower would Get hot
