Center of town and walking distance to everything, including the water taxi! Room was just okay. It's more of an Inn or Hostel. No maid service during your stay, so you have to ask for new towels, etc. Our air conditioning was broken, which would have been fine, but our window did not have screens, so we couldn't open those either. Great people that work there and love the bar! I was there for four nights; it was strictly a business trip. The hotel is perhaps a little timeworn, and it is right in the heart of commercial George Town; you can walk to banks, stores, etc., only a couple of minutes away. The hotel seems to be a hangout for expats at happy hour, and some nights has live entertainment, which I could have done without, but that is a personal preference. Lunch is available there, but we had to go out for dinner. We had to wait a while fir one of the rooms when we got there, which was a bit annoying, but life is never perfect.
