"After a few days in the sweltering heat of Marrakech, Dar Do provided a very welcome escape. We all loved the house, it was very spacious and had plenty of space for our party of 6. Everything we needed for our 10-day stay was provided and Said was on hand to help with any requests we had. The swimming pool was fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend it."

"I needed a last minute booking and found this lovely home for a one night (or longer) stay. I booked it late at night and bc the owner lives in a different country (I didn’t know this) the time difference made it difficult to get the final information to enter into the home. Now I know that it’s important to book at least 1-2 days in advance to give the owner time to connect and share details. "Brilliant apartments. Modern, clean and close to every amenity you need. Plenty of eating places at your doorstep. Communication was spot on. Main beach is a stones throw away. "A superb Villa, large, we equipped, enough space for the 14 of us (including a 3Month old baby). Pascale was an absolute star as a host, helped with all aspects of our stay. From transfers to arranging the masseuse. The staff were amazing, Miriam and Amina gave us some delicious traditional meals ( as well as something a little more familiar for the kids). The housekeeper and the guys looking after the villa were all very friendly and helpful, from the time we arrived all the way through to our early morning departure. Nothing negative from us, 5 Star, all the way."

"The hotel was not good. The towels were shockingly old, the pillows REALLY old and the rooms uncomfortable. The whole stay was uncomfortable and shockingly bad for the price they were charging. The service was incredible. Mohammed was amazing. But I feel the owners of Villa Daba whom we never saw must be overcharging and letting the hotel go into disarray. The conditions of the room were shockingly old. I've never in my life seen pillows like this, or towels this old. If you're charging this much and insisting on cash payment, you must provide items not from decades ago. Also, it's not Essaouira. It's deceiving. Everywhere it says Villa Daba Essaouira. But it's 15 min from Essaouira. There is nothing close. Nothing. And the villa only offers a breakfast and that's it. The rooms are really hot and became insufferable at night, you can't open windows, no screens and lots of bugs. Tourist trap. We got a really bad rash from the pool and shower gel. Avoid."
