Amazing views
We loved our stay at The Song of the Sea! The property was beautiful and perfect size for our needs. Very private, quiet, clean. The sound of the waves can be heard from almost every room.

Quiet and quaint
The property was exactly as the description and pictures represented. Even with stormy weather it was comfortable, warm and cozy. The ocean and beach were fabulous for viewing and walking. If I need down time this is a place I would go. Not recommended for kids because access and surrounding area could be a hazard. Romantic though. The property management company are very efficient and friendly; we had a couple of small issues arise but were handled quickly and never intruded on our time.

Idyllic beach cottage! Within walking distance to the beach, not crowded. Quiet, cozy & clean! Our favorite spot was on the deck, listening to the waves roll in, watching the pelicans dive and even lucky enough to see some whales! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay....however, the hide-a-bed needs to be replaced. My friend got no sleep because of the bar in his back all night and the permanently folded mattress...

Beautiful and Quiet Location
This location was beautiful and the pictures are accurate on the listing. The closest beach access is very steep, however, it is a very short walk to the public access. We were there during the week and the beach was not busy at all!! The house was clean and seemed to have all things needed to have an enjoyable stay. The driveway is indeed steep, and I do wish that we would have been able to park our car in the garage, but it worked out fine. I am not sure that having the property managed by a large company is as good as a local owner run management. We did have a little trouble with the key code lock, which has gotten mentioned in reviews before. The only number that you can call directs you to a call center that is not local. We eventually got the lock open, but calling a non local number in that situation is a bit stressful. Other than that, I would recommend this place as a quiet, out of the way location to enjoy the ocean!

Beautiful home
We love Gleneden and the home was very updated with top of the line appliances and loved the gas range. We could not have asked for better weather and with that said, the intense afternoon sun through the glass heated the house to 97. Our block had a power outage for several hours so we are not sure if it affected the dryer as it would shut off every 10 minutes. We needed nothing because right down to kitchen utensil…everything was supplied. We will be back🦀

This is a very nice house for a couple. Comfortable king bed, quiet neighborhood. The house was clean. Tiny complaints inadequate number of washcloths with two for both of us for a 3 night stay and not enough TP. We had to go buy more. These are such tiny things I don’t know why they’d be overlooked.

We really enjoyed our stay .. very comfortable house with all of the comforts of home.. one suggestion though is to have the bedroom windows with darkening shades or blinds .. other than that. We will plan another visit soon :)

Great views but some amenities didn’t work and host never responded when messaged about it
The place was beautiful, great views. Just frustrated that the grill didn’t work and the Roku wouldn’t connect to the internet. Messaged the host about the grill and never got a response which was really frustrating. Overall a good place but the amenities really should be tested between stays if they’re going to be on their listing.

House awesome and very clean. Great views. FYI: Neighborhood beach access was very steep and rocky. Driveway was steep. Keypad didn't work. Used key which worked very well. Major problem was with VACASA VACASA didn't send key code until 1 1/2 hours after check in time and we had to contact them. Long time on hold and rude customer service. Requested information before check-in did not receive any reply.

Perfect home in a gorgeous setting
The home was all we imagined and more, it was exceptionally clean and complete with everything needed to make our stay just like being at home. The front windows offered a spectacular view of the water which we enjoyed while eating or just watching the winter storm. We will definitely visit again during the summer months. My husband and I rate this home a perfect 10! If you want a true lovely getaway for two this is the place for you.

Awesome view of ocean!
Clean and cozy with an incredible view of the ocean! Unfortunately, turbulent storms brought the ocean so close to the shoreline that there was no beach to walk along. But watching from the window was mesmerizing. Caution: the driveway is very steep for parking!

This apartment is all a couple could want. It’s small but plenty big, comfortable, has a dream kitchen and a private deck so you can enjoy the drop dead gorgeous view. The tv, with every channel imaginable, is located above a gas fireplace that makes the living room warm and cozy. The biggest downside is the 10 AM checkout time, which doesn’t leave time for packing, cleaning and fixing breakfast.

We loved this home! So cozy and comfortable with amazing views! Only drawback was the fireplace was being replaced at the time we were there so not available, but otherwise a wonderful place to stay! Will definitely be back!

Amazing location & beautiful house!
We stayed during one of the shutdowns, and very rainy weather. This house was the perfect setting, one bedroom for us with a large kitchen and living space that overlooks the ocean. We were able to have a local friends come and join us for meals, and enjoy time while taking advantage of the amazing view. We even had one sunny day where we were able to have takeout on the deck overlooking the ocean. Super clean, incredibly well appointed, we cannot recommend this place enough!

Property well appointed, very clean, good quiet location, great views. We came to see the January storms and we saw them! Waves up to 20 feet (30 predicted). Neighbor who had been there five years said it was the biggest storm with largest surge she had ever seen. Was a bit anxious as the large front window flexed in the gusts up to 50 mph.

Possibly the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! I typically am a little OCD about cleanliness at VRBOs and hotels and am always just a little uncomfortable no matter where we stay. This home was so clean and cozy from the second we stepped in that I even curled up under the couch blanket (that never happens!) The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The views were incredible. There is so much Oregon coast to see but we will have to stay here again no doubt. Location was great for accessing food and scenery. The management even left us a turkey pan and some sparking cider since we were staying over Thanksgiving. Thank you so much!!!

Awesome stay and awesome weather
As those that have preceded us say this is a wonderful place for 2 people. The location is fantastic to view the ocean and the great clean beach below. We spent a lot of time just sitting out on the deck watching the waves, some go parallel to the beach !! Of course the Oregon coast is full of turn offs for viewing and some hiking if you are up for it. Visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport. Very well done and educational. Have to say that we had some awesome weather for the coast this time of year. Lots of sunshine and stars plus the full moon. We'll be back - Pete & Lisa, Boise, Idaho

The view is amazing!
Overall the location is great. The view from the house is amazing. Love the large windows, you can sit inside at night with all the lights off and watch the stars while listening to the waves crashing. So relaxing... As someone else noted, the kitchen could use a deep clean. Instead of hurrying to allow someone to check in early, clean the fridge by washing the inside and the inside of the cabinets as well, food crumbs and such in several of them. I washed the pot holders as they had crusted food on them. I cleaned the food particles from around the stove. All issues were a quick clean up, and it’s not beneath me to clean, but for the price you pay these things should be clean. Of note, the bathroom is open to the bedroom with a pocket door, there isn’t much privacy if someone sleeps in. The house is great for two people. If you like cooking on a gas stove, you’ll love this house! The stove is very good quality. The bed is very comfortable too. Overall a great house, just needs a deep clean in the kitchen. I’d stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

It was great and still is, as we have yet to leave. The place was a perfect size for the two of us and was very clean. The weather has been amazing and were able to spot whale(s) spouting in the distance, right from beach house. It was our first sighting ever! We've always wanted a place right on the beach, but never liked the idea of the closeness of other houses. It was very quiet, however, and no one on either side of us during our stay.

Perfect beach getaway!
It was fabulous! Outstanding location right on the beach and the house was adorable! Couldn't ask for a better view of the waves. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing I would suggest is, that the directions for entering the house because be a bit clearer/ have more detail. The current directions directed us to use the keypad by the garage when in fact the key code was for the keypad by the front door. Also, it was not clear that when leaving, you needed to press the Schlage logo on the keypad for it to lock - we had to call the help number to find this out. Would definitely come back again and would recommend this place to friends and family!!

Serenity on the Beach
I loved everything about this place. I wish I could have stayed longer. The beach views are incredible and the house was super clean and decorated beautifully. Lincoln Beach is the perfect size community, feeling cozy but not hectic. There are lots of restaurants and nearby attractions. My Petite Sweet is an amzing bakery worth checking out. I really enjoyed my time here, walking on the beach, watching the sunsets and driving up the coast to Cannon Beach and back. When you get there go to the lockbox by the northside door..not the one by the garage door. I was confused at first when that one would not open with the code. I would stay here again for sure.

Perfect family vacation
I can’t think of a better way to spend the last four days than this beautiful beach house! It exceeded our expectations. I can’t believe how close it is to the beach. The beach isn’t crowded and the sand is so buttery soft. The whales off the coast were extremely cool and unique to watch. Our two small children came with us and we were more than comfortable. We loved the king bed, cable, full kitchen with amazing appliances and hide-a-bed. It was so clean and well kept. The deck on the back of the house has amazing views. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a home on the corner we were able to borrow sand toys from. We will be back to this beach house as soon as we can make time for it! Thanks so much for opening up your home to us!

Beautiful property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. The living room furniture was very comfortable and inviting. The bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable and we slept well every night. We enjoyed the ocean view and sunset every night and the property was very private. The only issue that we had was we wish there would have been an iron and ironing board! Other than that, we will definitively come back.
