We needed a place to stay before and after kayaking down Sky River, and this place was perfect for us. The cabin is clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities five minutes' drive from Big Eddy Public Water Access and Family Grocer supermarket. Surrounded by the trees it was a wonderful place to relax after a day in the sun on the river. We didn't know the area, and our hosts, Scott and Christina, helped us with their advice, directions, and knowledge of the river. Their heartwarming hospitality made our stay very special. The driveway's not paved, which can be tricky if wet. Don't drive all the way up to the main house; the rental cabin is lower, on the left. No Wi-Fi but the mobile connection is excellent so we could use the Internet.

Great spot, clean, cozy
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Great location, close to hikes, the river, and town if you need anything. House was clean and extra bonus of having Tupperware for leftovers, something we always forget.

Great little spot that's convenient for the area
We needed a place to stay for a quick weekend trip and this was a nice little cabin. Modest, but clean and everything worked well. Reasonable price and host was very responsive when we had questions. Just a note that there is no Wifi (which is accurate on the listing but easily missed).

Beautiful Getaway
This cabin is small and quaint. Located across from the Skykomish River. There were lots of activities to do near by (swim in the river, hike Heybrook Lookout, venture into Gold Bar, Index). The host, Scott, was a delight to communicate with and also provided us with a freshly caught sockeye salmon that was tasty! If you’re looking for a getaway from city life and enjoy solitude, this is the perfect place. I would and will be back to stay again in the future.
