Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
When we arrived to the location I immediately felt unsafe in the neighborhood. The apartment, that we never saw, was directly across from Mel Trotter Ministries and Guiding Light. There was also a park very close but the entire area was where the homeless were hanging out. The “host” told us he would meet us in the parking lot with the key (which felt weird but ok) no keyless entry available. We could not get into the parking lot without a key fob. We ended up waiting on the street for a long while waiting for him and answers. He then stated there was an issue with the key and it needed to be reprogrammed at the main office. We waited for 2 hours for him to fix the issue. It did not happen. We never met with him at all, never saw the apartment and ended up having to find another place to stay for the evening. We did get a refund without much hassle and for that I am grateful. He was responsive to the texts, but I would never go through the hassle of trying to rent this particular place or host again. I’m still not sure if the place was even actually available. It was all very sketchy.
