"The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. We actually talked about trying to book again for sometime this summer! Great location, comfortable, fully-appointed house! Thank you, Carrie!"

"Joe and Kelsey are probably the most thoughtful hosts we’ve stayed with. The house was well kept and had plenty of the little things that make a stay easy (fully furnished kitchen, coffee, plenty of paper products, kayaks, firewood, etc). It’s those little touches that make a trip extra relaxing. The property is in a great neighborhood that is extremely quiet. The communication during the stay was amazing as well. It’s always great to be checked in on during the stay incase something comes up....

"Had a great time on Spider Lake at this large and very clean property. The hill down to the lake (or rather up hill to the house) was a bit challenging for some but was worth the climb every time! The host provided wood for fires on his patio firepit and down by the beach. He also provided ideas for things to do around the area and he was spot on! The local restaurant he recommended was great and the pontoon rentals and river tubing rentals were very accommodating. The house offers many things...

"This cottage was a perfect blessing to our family as we were in town for a 2-day sports event in Traverse City. It was more spacious than expected. Our family of 6 moved around with ease. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There were enough seats for everyone in our family to be comfortable in the living room and dining room. "We brought our 16 year old daughter and a few of her friends for the weekend to celebrate her sweet 16. We had high hopes for better weather, but it's Michigan- so you never know what you're going to get! The place is very clean and Barn is a delight to communicate with. "This was our second stay on Bass Lake, but first in this location. We really appreciated having access to a beach and kayaks, plus the fire pit was excellent. The house has all the things you would want for a long stay, plus the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owners were attentive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. P.S. I recommend bringing a pitcher-type water filter with you. Its a little bit more...

Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Only complaints would be that the property was a little dusty and there was a lot of dog hair on the futon and blankets. Also, air did not work well when it got very humid one day. This was minor though. Would definitely stay here again"
