Quaint property
We had a wedding in town. It was a perfect 2 night stay for our family. They had the cottage decorated beautifully. We got to use the paddle boards and kayaks. Matt, the owner, was even around to give a sunset cruise. Thank you for your southern hospitality. God bless you.

Relaxing mornings and evenings
The location of the house is perfect for having morning coffee on the deck, enjoying the breeze off the water and watching the sunrise. Evenings on the deck listening to the frogs, enjoying the evening breeze and relaxing from your day. The property owners are very responsive and friendly.

Great Location and Great Hosts
Rented the property for a fishing trip with a few friends. Property was very clean and perfectly fit our needs. Hosts were very responsive and made sure our group had everything we needed. We will be back next year.

One of the best vacations ever!
Beach Cottage was easy to find, in a great location and beautifully maintained. Because a tropical storm was due, the owners came down and made sure we were OK. Dana and Matt are two of the nicest people we have ever met and we feel we have just made two new friends.

This place was just awesome. At the end of a street so there was some privacy. Amazing view from the front deck of the Currituck Sound, This was our first time staying here and any time we are in this area again we will be wanting to stay here!

We had a wonderful stay here and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Our little ones loved fishing off the dock and hanging out on the porch! The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Perfect for our family of 5 :)

A relaxing holiday
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property was beautifully maintained inside, super clean and I loved the decor. We had nearly everything we needed (bar an electric toaster - or perhaps we just couldn't find it!). Dana was incredibly responsive and provided many excellent restaurant and entertainment suggestions.

Amazing views, newly remodeled.
The place was just as pictured with amazing views from every window. Host was responsive and very accommodating. However, I do want to warn future bookers about the bugs. If you stay in the time we did (July) there were spiders galore inside and out of the unit. We did our best to try to ignore them but if you have someone that is afraid of spiders / bugs please note that they will encounter quite a bit of them anytime outside. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor furniture and spaces due to the bugs and spiders. Also the 2nd bathroom is located outside under the house. It’s a great 2nd bathroom however if you use it at night you will encounter webs/spiders. It’s not the fault of the hosts they were amazing. However we would have booked somewhere else if we knew about the natural surroundings of this place.

Such a cozy beach themed home!
I recommend this house for your vacation in the Outer Banks, it’s a cute cozy house and has every thing you need with immediate responses from the Host. The view is amazing from the sunrises and sunsets to the brights stars shining on clear night skies.

Nice house overlooking a marsh on the water
We found Grandy to be a community of people who love the area. The houses are small and close together but everyone is careful to respect each other's space and allow everyone to enjoy this unique area that still has lots of wildlife and natural beauty. We were lucky to meet our hosts and they are great! Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for a birthday beach get away, with only a 25 min drive to the beach. There is a lot of attention to detail with this home, we really enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing poles that were supplied.

Travel agent here-we loved this place. The only things I could recommend to make this property even better are room darkening curtains especially for the water view room. Other than that we loved this location, property, decor, cleanliness; it was perfect. We had a little hiccup with the wifi slowing way down with multiple devices on it at once,but not a big deal at all. We will be back and use this as a jump start to our annual obx trip.

Quiet waterfront getaway
We enjoyed our quick stay minus all the rain. The house was clean and I loved the decor! The only thing I would change would be adding more blinds or curtains. Very nice beach style house. Lots of amenities, and updates. We loved the little reading nook, and wished we could have utilized the outside seating areas. Perfect for our weekend to celebrate a friends wedding. Beautiful scenery (too bad the weather didn’t cooperate so we could witness a sunrise or sunset). Nice location with a short drive to Nags Head that fit us perfectly. Our host had nice communication. Would recommend for a small family.
