Nice hotel to stay close to airport.

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: cleanliness and easy airport access.
Cons: Include breakfast in the room price.
Location: everything is at least 30 minutes away except airport which is literally across the street .No sound pollution as few flights.Had a restful sleep.
We stayed at this hotel as we were leaving Costa Rica in the morning and wanted to be close to the airport.Their free shuttle to airport allowed us to return our rental car at night , saving us the hassle of last minute chores. Breakfast is good but you pay for it. Moderately priced compared to some other places.Good place to stay if you plan on commuting to local beaches by rental car.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: King-size, comfortable, clean bed. No mosquitoes.
Cons: Entrees at the restaurant could be tastier and staff there friendlier.
Location: It's about 15 minutes by car to Liberia and 45-60 minutes to the beaches. You'll need a car or arrange transportation to go anywhere.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn the evening we arrived in Liberia and the evening before our departure. It's a great hotel except that the only thing in the surrounding area is the airport. Landscape in the area is arid, and it's about a 15 minute drive into town. Noise was not a problem as the airport seemed to close down around 7:00 in the evening. Beds were comfortable and welcome after our other accommodations in Arenal and Tamarindo. Restaurant was only so-so, and wait staff was not overly friendly. Gift shop was expensive, so if you crave something sweet after dinner, order the dessert; it's cheaper. Also, make sure to sign-up for shuttle service to the airport as the van fills up.

Nice and Quiet.

Posted Aug 8, 2015
If you like solitude and tranquility, this is the place to stay. They call it a stop and go Hotel, because it's mainly business purposes. The Main town, Liberia is fairly near either by bus or car (the bus "Pulmitan" picks you up in front of the Hotel, and the beaches are 30 mins to an hour on the bus. nice experience!

Good airport hotel

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Airport hotels see a notoriously high amount of traffic and with it wear and tear. The Hilton Garden Inn is well maintained and although shows signs of this wear remains a friendly, welcoming and clean place to stay overnight for a quick jump to the airport.

Chosen due to location close to airport

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Clean,friendly and attentive.
Cons: Service in restaurant.
Easy check in/check out were very easy. Staff willingly suggested alternative transport times to airport. The restaurant food was good, the service needs improvement with attentiveness.

Perfect place to stay close to the airport

Posted Jul 13, 2015
They have everything you would expect of a Hilton and the staff are very good. They helped us figure out a tricky rental car return situation and book the free hotel shuttle to the airport, which starts at 4:30am.

Great hotel next to Liberia Airport

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Very well maintained , clean modern hotel. High speed internet in lobby was very helpful for printing boarding passes, nice gift shop with variety
Cons: Not anything....top notch facility
Location: Less than one hour to beautiful resorts around Rincon de la Vieja (National Vocano Park) ziplining, horse riding, waterfall/hiking, 45 min to beaches
Great facility within 5 minutes of the Liberia Airport!! Stayed overnight to catch a 7am flight, very comfortable beds, extremely clean and well maintained. They had a courteous shuttle driver who was on time and provided us with an express check out and made everything so easy and stress free. Enjoyed a great dinner for our last meal in Costa Rica, grilled salmon with fresh veggies and a mango glazed chicken breast...beautiful plating , well seasoned and very tasty!!! The staff is very helpful, well trained and friendly!! We will be staying there every time we travel to Guanacaste, nice way to wrap up our 10 day adventure to Costa Rica.
