"Extremely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation spotless, comfortable and cosy. Everything you have at home was available in the chalet, including extra tea/coffee, sugar and a carton of milk. Nothing left to chance and the small touches - like a gift of two mugs, pens and stationery - greatly appreciated. Hosts very communicative and kept in touch throughout our stay. "We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location. We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. There is a local supermarket close by in Blairgowrie and good local walks. The welcome folder gives recommendations for places to eat. We all had a delicious meal at the Old Cross Inn, Rattray,...

Hotel Indigo Dundee by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were extremely caring and helpful"

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Dundee

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Lighting was quite poor for getting ready and the vanity mirror is far too high to be useful. Bathroom was small but the shower was big and very good pressure. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park across the road and a multi-story 5 minutes walk away. The main door will only open with a keycard overnight and guest floors are only accessible via keycard. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that - we thought breakfast prices were a bit high when there are cafes within walking distance. Overall a very good stay that ticked all the boxes. Definitely good for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay."

Salutation Hotel

8/10 Good

"It’s been a few years since I last stayed here and there’s been some improvement noted. I was solo travelling for a gig in the city so booked a single room. The room itself was clean and the bathroom was clean apart from the shower mat (black mould on it) a small thing but these things should be noticed on turnaround. Also the shelf in the bathroom at an angle so unable to put anything on it, also due to the small sink and the shelf above, it made it difficult to use the sink properly after cleaning my teeth. The staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The building itself is pretty dated and the interior could do with a revamp also. But I’d still go back and probably opt for a double room for a bit more space. Location it’s 15 minutes walk to the train station, and a 2-minute walk to the main shopping precinct. So it’s pretty central."

Royal Dunkeld

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was in a very convenient location, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. After a day of bad weather, I was completely exhausted, so I ordered takeout from the Indian restaurant on the ground floor—it was absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderful, and their kindness was truly comforting. Thank you! I can confidently recommend this hotel."

Staybridge Suites Dundee by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Another fantastic stay. Excellent location, staff, and always clean. I would like to see 1 extra piece of cooking equipment in the studio rooms, which is an air fryer. 2 hot plates, and a grill microwave are okay, but restrict food choices. Simple answer, I bought my own for £25. Sad as that sounds, solved all my problems. Will be staying again soon!"
