We called and had confirmation multiple times throughout the day they would come- never came. Even had to go to the front desk at 11p to beg to just get clean towels- that still took forever. Very big disappointment. Also there was a creepy hole in the floor by the tv."Reviewed November 3, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Munich (MUC)BOS - MUC • 1 stop MUC - BOS • 1 stop$2,010$1,570found 22 hours agoper traveler - Hotel Torbräu

Hotel Waldmann
Hotel Waldmann"We had a magnificent time at the Waldman hotel. Our room actually had a view of the castle. The food was excellent and we rented bikes to ride into the city. Highly recommend this place easy to get up to the castle on the bus in the morning."
"Perfect location close to the train station and bus to Neuschwanstein Castle. Gorgeous view over rooftops to the mountains. Amazing breakfast buffet with loads of choice. Carpet in room was stained and there was mould/dust on the bathroom vent. The place felt run down but it's characterful. I appreciated the elevator. No umbrellas were available at the desk on a rainy day."
Central City Hotel
Central City Hotel"Great location and nice staff. Room was very small and bathroom even smaller with a pedestal sink. Room was very cold and no way to adjust temperature in the room, the floor was like ice. in the breakfast room a lady sitting next to us was rubbing her arms and blowing into her hands it was that cold everywhere, no heat even in breakfast area! Breakfast was atrocious, ice cold dried up scrambled eggs or boiled sausages were the only hot item, no bacon. Old fruit past it's best before date or...
"The staff was super nice and very helpful. They gave us a card to get around the city, directions to the Castle, places to eat, Very nice. The location is great. It sits about three blocks from the beginning of downtown five blocks to the train station and the bus where you catch a ride to the Castle. The High Castle in town is excellent and worth thetime. The breakfast was very typical for a German hotel cold cuts bread, coffee out of the machine. The convenience of breakfast was worth the €16,...
