Tucked away in the Hills of Tochigi (2hours from Tokyo) is the Town of Mashiko well know for its history of pottery. More than 300 potters live in this small town and create all kinds of beautiful pottery. It was late February and I found a stall selling these Sakura designed rice bowls : )
