This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend Shose if you are in the Moshi area. Starting with the warm welcome from Benson at the front desk to the wonderful service and great recommendations for dinner from our waiter Ismail, we were very pleased with choosing Shose Farmhouse! We were 2 couples and all agreed that the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the bed super comfortable! Also enjoyed a hot soak in the outdoor tub on the balcony overlooking green fields and Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance! A special thank you to Benson who arranged for my iphone left mistakenly in the taxi arranged by the hotel, to be returned to me!

The property itself was decent, but the staff and their attention deserve 10 stars. Throughout my three-week trip in this beautiful country, one thing has stood out everywhere I’ve stayed: exceptional hospitality that makes you feel like family and truly at home. This property especially impressed me with their care and attentiveness. I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Very happy with my stay.

I stayed here on three separate nights and enjoyed my stay. The front desk was helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport, were extremely friendly and welcoming! The property grounds are well-maintained and the restaurant has vegetarian options as well. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tanzania!
