Comfortable hotel

Posted Nov 17, 2017
It's only 10 minutes walk from Hakata station, and there is a convenience store right in front of the hotel. The room is clean and enough wide for a business trip.

Convenient

Posted Nov 13, 2017
Pros: Very quiet, it is primarily a "business mans hotel".
Cons: Daiwa does not seek non - Japanese customers. They do not have the services for first time tourists. For instance money exchange, safe deposit box
Location: Shopping, transportation, temples and restaurants
Daiwa is located 1/3 of a mile to Hakata City(train station), 1/4 mile to Canal City and a covered shopping Street. The covered street had a 290 yen ramen shop opened 24 hours a day(friendly staff, hard working, English menu with pictures). Very Short walk to Fukuoka Subway(2 day pass 720 yen) We had subway pass for 2 days then Northern Kyushu train pass for 5 days, then another 2 day subway pass. Passes are the way to go!!!! Daiwa has a very good Japanese breakfast for 500 yen. One combined washer(200 yen)/dryer(100 yen for 30 min) - worked fine. In room refrigerator and "good" one cup drip coffee packs(better than any one cup coffee in U S}. If you do not have the room cleaned, they will give you a hotel coupon for bottled water.

Great place to stay in Hakata

The hotel location is great which is walking distance from Canal City Shopping area, also many places to eat. Loved their Japanese breakfast! One thing I wasn't crazy about was the massage chair in the room. I would have preferred comfortable chair to sit instead. Overall, I thought The Hotel was great.

We lived here in our first day of arrival in Fukuoka. It is close to subway. The night market area is just down the road. Staff is friendly. Glad there was a massage chair in room too.

좋은 위치와 가성비 높은 호텔이에요 하카타역 캐널시티 도보 가능해요 직원들도 친절하고 일본 호텔치곤 넓은편인고 같아요 2박 3일동안 잘 머물다 갔어요
