The rooms were basic and a bit dated, but comfortable and clean. Staff were great, really friendly and welcoming, and the bar was lively in the evening with locals as well as guests, giving it a bit of atmosphere. The cooked breakfast was good, although the continental breakfast selection is limited - just toast, pastries, yoghurts and fruit.
Marked cleanliness down due to the state of the gents toilet in the bar, which was not pleasant. The room itself was clean though.
