"First, I have to say that all communications with Jonathan were excellent. No matter what question I had was immediately answered. The house was as described, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxed stay.Boating, don't expect to bring your own boat as the marsh is very shallow. There is a tandem kayak there but I brought my own kayak with us and it was great, spent a lot of time on the water.Overall it was a great relaxing trip but if you want a busy area with night life this is not the place to go.The one negative I would have, not with this unit, but Emerald Isle beach access. Access is mainly limited to the 2 paid parking areas which used hourly parking. There is some other access points like down near the Coast Guard station but it is a long walk to to beach. I must say it is about the nicest and widest beach we have ever been on.All in all I would highly recommend this property. It is definitely water front with beautiful views. "

"We enjoyed our stay so much! It is a little noisy being on a busy road but we brought fans with us to help block the noise at night. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed except for a hair dryer. Great location and responsive hosts. Highly recommend!"
