"Unfortunately, the floor we stayed on smelt bad as soon as we walked out of the elevator. And, the carpet in the hallway was lifting up. But the room, food, drinks and staff were exceptional."

Opossum Creek Retreat
"The tranquil setting in the woods is perfect for a New River getaway. The screened in porch with hot tub was a real bonus. Fire pit, outdoor grill and kitchen made for a great stay. The location - close to the bridge and visitor center - was super convenient."

"This was a great property for our three day weekend visiting New River Gorge National Park. We were able to explore all areas of the park with this as our home base. It's very close to the restaurants and shops in Fayetteville, but it seems like you're farther away because it is surrounded by trees ..."
