"This treehouse experience included breakfast and it was far better than any hotel breakfast and as good as any I have ever had in a bed and breakfast. The staff was very pleasant, the grounds had numerous activities for all ages. In all, a very fun experience. However, this is a camping experience. Don’t go looking for upscale accommodations. Go to enjoy something totally different."

"My family of three stayed here for two nights in July 2026. The home is one floor, spacious with an open floor plan. The three bedrooms were comfortable. It was convenient having a washer/dryer. The host provided a stocked coffee station. The neighborhood was quiet. It was easy and fast to the beach and redwoods. Directions for checking in and out were clear and concise. This is nice place to stay for a group/family up to 6 people (if each bed held 2 people). Future guests should note that the home has a very strong presence of air fresheners throughout, which may be challenging for anyone with allergies or scent sensitivities. We also noticed a musty odor, particularly in the master bedroom and bathroom. These things can be remedied by the host so as not to diminish the satisfaction of future guests. We had a pleasant stay and don’t wish to deter anyone from staying here."

"We had a wonderful time. The place was inviting and had a lot to offer for a fun family experience. The garden offered a great place to watch bees and butterflies flying from flower to flower. The fruit trees brought in birds. The creek had small fish and crawfish to watch and try to catch and release. The trail to the creek was manageable for my 4yo on his own if he didn't have anything in his hands. The creek had swimming holes that were deep and small rapids for the kids to go down on tubes. The hostess was very responsive and kind. Given the option we would love to return at a future date."

10/10 Excellent
"A cute, comfortable cottage and very peaceful place to come "home" to after a day of exploring. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the peaceful countryside setting or take a stroll. Close to several swimming holes and access to Howland Hill Rd. for redwood hikes. Loved the map on the wall and amusing assortment of books, including a short history of Gasquet.Notes to be aware of:-There is some road noise from 199.-As is clear from the reviews, many people bring their dogs to this property. If you have allergies/asthma, you might need to take your medication like some of my family did, so bring it just in case. The property was clean, but of course not all pet dander can be eliminated."
