"Helpful staff, someone on reception when we arrived late at night. Very close to Ferry Port and easy to find. Good breakfast. Very clean room and extremely comfortable bed. Would recommend for an overnight stay when arriving in France on the Newhaven Ferry. Will definitely use this hotel again."

"Staff were very helpful and stored our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out on the morning when we were due to catch the 4pm ferry. Pre - ordered a taxi for us which arrived punctually. Excellent location for shops, market, restaurants and bars. Will definitely book again."

"It was an unscheduled stay due to cancelled ferry. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Good varied menu in the bar. Food was excellent. Left at 5 am so didn’t have breakfast but it was all set out ready if you needed it. "

"What a beautiful Hotel. We arrived late but were still able to book for dinner in the restaurant. We had the most beautiful room and we had a really good nights sleep, with our two dogs in the room too. Lovely people, very kind and accommodating in every way. Dinner was absolutely delicious and I can honestly say the best dessert I have ever had. I would highly recommend this hotel to one and all. It was an absolute bargain for the calibre of establishment. Wonderful, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Just the best. We loved it for an overnight stopover on our way to the south of France. "The staff members were very friendly and accommodating for my two cats and it wasn’t expensive to pay for them (24 euros for two cats). The hotel room was clean and minimalistic but had a high attention to detail. We were a bit worried about bed bugs from the news and social media so when we checked the bed we were comforted to see that the hotel took precautions for guests by triple layering the mattress with mattress covers. All in all a stress free stay"
