When it’s time to relax and unwind, treat yourself to a stay at River Escape, an inviting cabin located on the banks of the Little Red River. We are 8 miles from the Dam Site Camping area and Boat Dock on Greers Ferry Lake in the quiet town of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Whether you are indoors or out you can take in the beautiful views of the Little Red River. This river is known nationwide for its record Brown and Rainbow trout fishing. Boat rentals and guides are available to those who are so inclined. Or, just head down to the water (where there is an excellent shoal for fly fishing when the water is down) to our private partially covered dock, and start fishing. This clean comfortable cabin is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and just slow down. With an open-concept design, our cabin takes full advantage of its tranquil surroundings. When you’ve caught your limit, take an evening stroll down the quiet WildFlower community roads and you will be captivated by the peaceful sounds of nature surrounding you. We welcome you to make our home yours and enjoy your escape to the Little Red River.
Layout:
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom includes (a queen bed, TV, and a view of the river/ deck access .) The second bedroom faces the front of the house and includes 2 twin beds and 1 roll-away twin bed in one of the closets. both of these rooms share a full bathroom which includes a shower/tub.
On the second floor, the master suite has a balcony with a view facing the river and it includes 1 queen bed,1 large bath with a walk-in shower, and a flat-screen TV as well as a loft with a workspace that can be used for a second roll-away bed which is stored in the bathroom closet for easy access.
The kitchen includes fully stocked cookware, an electric oven/stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave along with many small appliances one would expect at home.
Extra amenities include.
Washer/Dryer, WIFI/Internet, 3 TVs with DirectTV system, Games/Puzzles, a Wood burning fireplace, Charcoal, and Gas grill, wrap-around porch, private partially covered dock with live well and sink with fresh water and electricity.
We also have a nice sitting area for those who like a cozy fire pit with plenty of firewood to burn. Inside we provide fire starters to help with the fireplace and the fire pit.
The cabin also Includes starter house essentials such as laundry detergent, hand soap, dishwasher pods, an iron/ironing board, and a coffee bar with a K-cup coffee maker and drip coffeemaker including (starter K-cups, coffee filters, creamer, sugar, and tea packets.). We provide three rolls of good-quality toilet paper for each bathroom and two rolls of paper towels for the kitchen.
